Bom trabalho, amigo! Vou me inscrever e conferir seus outros projetos. Sucesso contínuo!
(Portuguese is not my native tongue. Google Translate helped me. Here is the original) Good job, friend! I did a project recently to generalize Pico-DVI to be able to use a framebuffer (ua-cam.com/video/uOVqR7NeBk4/v-deo.html). I also did the same for VGA (ua-cam.com/video/Oj14gV2ZUjU/v-deo.html). Using the Pico-2 has been on my radar, so I was excited to see your work! I love your DIY "hat". I will subscribe and check out your other projects. Continued success!
@@drfrancintosh My congratulations on the project!! Although I find it interesting, I don't see much advantage in using VGA video output with the RP2040 or RP2350 because they don't have DAC, compromising the depth of colors representable on the screen. I know that it is possible to get around this problem by using resistors and PIO state machines, but for a larger project it would commit resources to other tasks.
@@ChandlerKluser thank you friend! With respect to vga I was able to get more colors when I generalized the output… I have more work to do on my generalized DVI project and I may borrow from your experience so that I can get more colors… My generalized DVI was only able to get 640x480 pixels with primary eight colors… I will return to this project, but tin he meantime vga is still a viable option as many of us still use old school monitors… However, using HSTX is a huge performance improvement that can’t be denied… So I will definitely be returning to this project!
"Não encaixa... porque não é compatível... O quê que eu fiz??" Gambiarra... todo brasileiro ama!!
