It's a joke by EA making it like Y2K bug for the current 2000 event....I ended up getting them all done in less than 30 mins. Do not try to score and make it to OT and all will get done in no time.

I am awful at this game. Been playing since the orignal NHL Hockey on Sega Genesis. Somehow i breezed passed these challeges. Needed OT. With passes. Icon passes between D-men at the blueline. Got that one without OT. The challenge i can't seem to do right now is 5 stick lifts with Patrice brisebois.
The harder one is the 5 stick lifts in the new HUT moments, on rookie the cpu is so bad that I can’t get near the puck carrier before they have lost it to my ai
Those moments are pretty easy fr. Just remove goalie to get to OT if needed and for the faceoffs one, just win the faceoff, saucer pass on the player's bench and do it all over again til you get 20. Did them in like 30 minutes and I'm a div 4 player.
Hearing everyone talk about how EA screwed up the wording of these moments just reminded me how much of an old head I am. 😂 For those that do not know, look up Y2K. Thought this was genius (not the rewards that is) and confirms my belief that the 9/11 moments for Panarin was on purpose.
@itsbarber3011 the stick lift challenges occasionally make me rage, but can't agree more, even compared to last year I feel that moments are much more do-able. Far fewer Superstar moments with ridiculous objectives, etc.
@ it feels like ea might be listening to us a bit .. as they should .. all other games the devs bend over backwards for the base like in aoe4 they all play the game themselves
@bottlecapsounds 100%! Especially when they have the hockey game market monopolized, the grind doesn't have to be so painful and full of fluff like do X, Y or Z 25 times against the Superstar CPU. People who play these games want to play hockey, give them fulfilling opportunities to do that, use cards, and progress. Moments should be fun and about using new / playing against new cards, not spending 2 hours wanting to Gronk your controller. And TBH, this year's HUT has gotten that closer to right than most iterations past. Completely agree that the dev team should all be fans of this game and ones like it. Sometimes, they seem out of touch in their decisions and that must be a part of it, somewhere up the ladder.
These were easy peasy. Had to take one of them to overtime to complete but other than that really not that difficult. With the face off just win the face off and throw it over the bench. Rinse repeat.

Anyone else getting a glitch where after you win a squad battles game or hut champs game it counts as a loss? Im not getting disconnected either this is wild
They were easy Burt. I got the hits before even going to OT. For the one where you had to get 20 shots I had 14 before OT. Then got the other 6 in OT. The hardest part of that one was not scoring. Yes you can get 5 collects for free each day, but I was happy to get 5 extra.
Those were super easy. Passes did not even need OT, Hits and Dekes were like maybe 30-60s, shots i think i had 18 in that time scored one and pulled my goalie to make sure i got to OT if i did not make 20 shots and face offs were super easy just get your best FO player and then win a faceoff and spin to offside and repeat😂 I think i used more time in the menus than in the game doing those moments😂😂
I believe the reason we’re getting all the weird code titles with no graphics is because it’s a Y2K reference for the 2000 event. I will say the moments aren’t hard at all. I did them all first try and I’m not a very good player at all. Just use OT to extend your time.

i was able to finally get 3 goals for shanahan and an 84 .. they are better . used to not be able to do most of them .. i did get these done ..it took me a while not on first try like pro level gamers on here do
ea if you are listening can we please get skill games like in fifa / fc? its a great way to learn the game buttons/skill moves etc and in fc it goes towards the xp even ..

Did all on first try, if you take a penalty the in game time will slow down to real time during those 2 min.

I did get them all done this morning. The faceoff one, I just went offsides intentionally as fast as possible

The hashtag/messed up moments are supposed to be the Y2K bug messing up the program. You have to go to overtime to get the moments done.

just like the new hut 2000 hejduk 3 pt , there is no way this is on hard lvl, you cant even keep the puck

For the passing objectives you don't need to enter the zone just win the faceoff and go over red line and start passing, same goes for dekes.
Got it done . But I had to retry the shots once . It was hard though. If you are below div 3 I wouldn’t recommend it
i get it done on the first attempt, but its weird. but everything needs to be done for free rewards
