End In Pain, the blazing hot hardcore newcomers straight outta Jakarta. These guys are the real deal, packing enough punch to light up any underground stage. We were lucky enough to catch them in action at the Sunami Tour show, where they kicked off the night with a bang. Well, sort of. You see, we had a bit of a misadventure, showing up fashionably late at the studio. We'd actually made it to the venue in the nick of time, but decided to swing by a local hangout joint to cool off and shake off the weariness of battling the relentless Jakarta traffic on a Friday evening after a grueling workday. Seriously, Jakarta traffic is a whole other level of crazy.
So there we were, grooving to their killer beats, when suddenly we realized we'd only caught a fleeting glimpse of their talent. Just one track. It was like getting a taste of the most amazing dish and then having it whisked away before you could savor it properly. Talk about a tease!
But let me tell you, what we did manage to see was nothing short of mind-blowing. End In Pain's stage presence was off the charts. They owned it, commanded it, and left us hungry for more.
