The BRDM is an amphibious vehicle. Why would ANYONE take it along a known road knowing that the enemy team has heavier armored vehicles? He should have cut across the water to the south keeping the element of surprise on his side.
you're severely overestimating the IQ level of your average Squad player. Just look how many got filtered by a little recoil and weapon sway in a TACTICAL SHOOTER when the ICO patch dropped. Most of these dudes buy the game after looking at youtube highlights and think the game is just Battlefield with longer respawns/faster TTK/more walking.
The BRDM is amazing at destroying tail rotors and is used for back line rat ambushes on logis and light vehicles, it can kill LAVS(apcs) just need to mag dump and runaway til main gun cooldowns (main gun overheats like the Chinese HMG, terrible). Bad players and soloing BRDM you cant play like that.
Can you explain the stryker mgs gunners sight? I get That the leftmost numbers are heat, top right is apfsds, rightmost is coax and the cross is the rangefinder but how do you align all of this horizontally? Do you aim with the spot where the horizontal line indicating distance meets (or would meet if it continued) the vertical line that curves towards the right at the very top?
Best game I've seen in awhile henki never fails to deliver. Give him western equipment or 70 year old Soviet equipment and he makes a show of it . "Divas yapping" was gold.

Yeah, the weird curve leaning to the right is actually marking where the round will land at those low distances, so i used that to aim to the left there.

the brdm sound is bugged since the update anyways, you can hear it from like a kilometer away

It curves to the right at lower ranges because thats where the gun is in relation to the sight
