Upper Mission Ridge loop

Decided to go a little higher up to check out the views and wildflowers and they did not disappoint! It was a refreshing change from riding the lower trails as it was more of a backcountry feel with the hand tool build trails using the natural terrain. I enjoyed the rocky technical aspect as well as the rough and rooted sections. What a beautiful trail, changing from rock slide landscape to ridge line riding. From lush forest floor to stark burn regrowth. Well worth a visit if you have never been.
