If Jason was an honest tax paying citizen like Drew is, then I would definitely agree..let her ass go to jail. But to watch your best friend get taken down behind some ish you've been out here doing and low key helped her do would be messed up.
Sonny will be okay by Christmas or before. Sonny will have more problems because his meds will be spiked. That's a terrible thing to do to Sonny that Ava too is up to no good and wait for Nina to learn the truth about that.

The problem is that if Danny had told Sam, Sam would have turned Jason in and made some excuse to everyone about needing a deal to protect Danny from prosecution. Bottom line, anyone who loves Jason more would keep quiet and anyone who loves Dante more would call the police. I think Sam’s really angry because Danny took Jason’s side. Also, telling Danny that he didn’t have to see Jason ever again was something I would have expected Liz to say, not Sam. Sam will certainly be surprised when Danny goes to visit Jason without her permission (which he definitely will).
Carly was trying to keep Sonny's business going to protect her family (and Sonny's children) AND Port Charles from Cyrus so her 'good deeds' led to the FBI having leverage over Jason. So again Nina's "Oh poor me...look at what Carly did to me act" is worthless because her selfish actions for a daugther who was dead - and did it to herself - has hurt so many people and then the writers keeps Nina in the story, so what we all have someone to seriously dislike more than Cyrus even...
She would have never been able to do it without Jason helping her so I can totally understand why he would feel bad letting Carly go to jail for 20+ years for getting into a business for a span of months while he was involved in it for 25+ years long before she ever became involved. Like as a friend that would make anyone feel crappy.. especially someone like Jason. Drew chose to go to jail for Carly without considering he was abandoning his daughter and this time willingly (when it was clearly Carly's own fault no matter how many people told her not to ).
