It’s inspiring to hear Godwin’s testimony. You don’t really see this side of him on the show. He seems to understand all he has been given is a blessing from God. That’s refreshing
He will change your life and make you never wana do wrong and when you do wrong the guilt , pain and him Jesus Christ reminds you where you have been and that he’s there for you I pray that ever who reads this gets saved by Christ and has all there worries and sins washed away ...amen✌🏼keep spreading his words and wisdom every where you go with anyone and everyone!

I've heard it said that it may be perfect and then once you step into it you make it imperfect. But, it was already imperfect anyway.
Church is a hospital for sinners.
Our God's not dead, that's why we depend on Him.
Jesus Christ will cloth you in righteousness and love you until you die but this is not the end . Just think we'll be with our Lord Jesus Christ with a new body and no more sin .that why I love my Lord Jesus Christ.

It's always a blessing to me to hear the Testemonies of how God uses man as a vessel here on earth to so that we can have that son ship that you've mentioned. Again I always get blessed hearing the numerous testemonies of those of the duck men. I'm a big fan. GLORY!

Duck Dynasty was a true blessing to be on TV. We just loved the entire cast. Especially the episodes with you and Martin. Bought the DVD’s, shirts and hats...always wore them when watched the weekly episode as a family. Loved how each episode ended with family at the dinner table and a prayer. We don’t get enough of that in our society. Glad your making videos so we still get to see you. Lots of love to you and your family John.❤️
Once you really get saved sin hurts, that's how true Christian's live Godly. Old things are past away and behold all things are become new. Unsaved people don't understand it, you have to become a child of God to understand. Joy unspeakable is what the Bible calls it. Everyone in the world is looking for peace, the only peace is in Christ Jesus. I heard your testimony on the unashamed podcast, I love hearing people's testimony, it's true evidence of God's love.

What a great testimony!!!! I just lost a 1st cousin, but he is one of GOD'S children. There is nothing better to leave on earth when you die than a great testimony of CHRIST being your SAVIOR!!! May GOD continue blessing you so you can be a blessing to others. We love you all.

My wife goes to church and bible studies all the time and she always wants me to go, but i always tell her my church is being out there hunting and fishing she has her way of interacting with god i have mine i always felt more at peace and being with a higher power out hunting and fishing
@G ford I get where you're coming from. I used to feel that way when I was on the road playing music. Now, I've been wanting to go to church so badly in this last year & my other half doesn't seem to have the interest like she used to. It's weakened me as an individual & weakened us as a couple. It's not my place to say whether your right or wrong. God deals with each of us individually & in your heart, he has already told you what's right. As for me, I feel in my heart that God wants me in church as often as I can go. For as long as God has impresses it upon my heart to feel that way, I'm doing wrong when I don't go.

I will say that studying the bible can help us get closer to God & understand more. Going to church gives us a spiritual recharge as we can help each other by talking through our problems with other Christians. It gives us support from our Christian family & also let's us be there to support them. The bible says this:
Hebrews 10:24-25

24. And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
25. Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
In my opinion, this means we are supposed to be lifting & building each other up & much more when we recognize we're in the last days. In this day & time, it's surely easy to "see the day approaching". I'll remember you in prayer brother. God Bless You & your family & please keep me & mine in your prayers as well!!!!!!!

John, well said! Wish I can meet you someday even if just for a couple seconds. My wife gave me the best 40 year old Duck Dynasty themed surprise birthday party, It was beautiful. Even had a homemade duck blind used as a photo booth for all the guests. Unbelievable man. God bless you John and the entire Dynasty family!

It's very true: the best life you can ever live is lived in and through Jesus. We can try and try and try to have the best life we can in our own power but without Jesus it's terrible, messed up and generally unfulfilling. Jesus gives us blessings we cannot possibly fathom! Hello! I'm 25 and this is the first season I've gotten into duck hunting. I live in northern Minnesota where it gets COLD during duck season. I need to get myself some camo. Waders and a jacket as the highest priority. Any tips on budget stuff that can get the job done? Ive seen lots of videos reccomend sitka and lacrosse which I can't afford over 150 or 200 on waders. Any tips would be helpful.

Thank you for sharing your testimony! I want you to know my testimony for my cousin. She was married to a man that did not know Christ. He was a good man and a hunter and provider but he hated when she prayed! She couldn’t even say, Thank the Lord when she received a blessing!! He would tell her that it wasn’t the Lord that provided, it was him. He would get so mad! We started praying for him. THEN DUCK DYNASTY BECAME A SHOW!!! He started watching you all hunting and fishing. He loved all of you!!! He became a believer :) He died last year with Covid at the age of 55. My cousin misses him terribly bad but is so thankful he was saved. God is with us always and working when we don’t even know it. I definitely was shocked that God created a show to answer my prayers!!! God bless you all. Thank you for being obedient to Christ and trusting His processes in His timing.

Myself, being a Southwest Tennessee, born and raised, country as a turnip green, American. I possess probably one of the most southern accents you have ever heard in your life. However, if there were an award for the most heavily southern accented phrase said in the history of this great land, I would hands down have to give this award to John Godwin for the sentence he uttered [or muttered 🤔 😁] here between 5:27-5:29! After numerous replays of these few little word's, [and believe me, I use the word, "word's" very loosely 😂] I have no earthly idea what in the heck he said! It's one of the most amazing things I've ever heard! 🤣😂
And that is saying ALOT!!! Hahaha

As a 46 year old recovered addict, I thought I had all. Money, house, cars, women, and drugs. People might say u were living the dream. I ended up lonely, sad, hateful, full of envy and pride. Which I grew up in church and saved, still turned from God and sinned and God never let me forget it. Once I ruined my life, and tired. I prayed, and asked God why am I here, what's my purpose on this earth.
I suddenly remembered and truly realized, Jesus died for all my sins that he knew I would be tempted by 2000 years later. That hit me like a ton of bricks, changed my life. I surrendered, gave up all my worldly possessions and started living by the gospel of Jesus chist. I still struggle with sin but always remember that Jesus always loved me and never gave up on me when everything and everyone else did. Theirs a couple of scriptures I say daily, James 4:8 Draw near to God and God will Draw near to u. James 4: 10 Humble yourself before the lord and he will lift u up. Thanks for reading, God bless.
That's the main reason I watch the show because everyone in the show LOVES the Lord truly Loves him it's not fake it's real and it makes me feel good watching and praying with the family when they pray

Your right about the church being full of sinners... I was about killed from a preacher rear-ending me. What was so bad was he was high on heroin. So high he had to be given narcan and the police wanted to cover it up to save embarrassment of the church.... It costed me a truck, my job and no income for almost a year.... Don't misunderstand me I still believe in God
