I completely understand why Jeanette McCurdy won’t be returning, but it still breaks my heart regardless.
As much as her antics often got her into trouble, I still admired Sam Puckett as a character when I was younger because she acted like no female I had seen on TV before discovering iCarly in 2009 (when I was 7). She was strange, reckless, lazy, and a big smart-aleck...and I wouldn’t want her any other way. I’ll admit that Sam was my first fictional character crush (though my romantic feelings were innocent, considering how young I was), and I know a lot of people in the LGBT community say that she was their lesbian or bisexual awakening.
