- This figure was quite easy to make. I used the Playmates 13inch Kong toy as a base and then I just made his legs articulated and and gave him poseable neck and chest by using tripod ball joints.

@@behemoth839 Both. I noticed that Playmates Godzilla was slightly shorter than Kong and his head felt way too small also. I need to beef him up in order to make him look like the king of the monsters.

2- have you considered make Godzilla and Kong with different designs?
@@behemoth839 1. Godzilla's head will be a little bigger than Playmates version's but not as big as Kong's.
2. When I'm making custom figures I want to give a touch of my flavor to seperate them from others. I try to make Godzilla to look same like in the movie but I might give him slight alterations.

its absolutely amazing what you can do with ball and socket joints, the 3D pen trick mixed with the glue then melting it down into the figure is very impressive. Its Fascinating what your doing, keep up the work! :D

Pretty good 😁. 3d print lament worked quite well itself so there was no need to use any epoxy clay.

1. What kind of figure did you take apart for the knee joints on Kong?
2. can you do more Kaiju related super articulated custom action figures or even JP ones like the ultimasaurus?

1. I used Marvel Select Unleashed Hulk's shoulder pieces for Kong's knees.
2. I have planned on making Mechagodzilla at some point but that might be the biggest challenge due to his mechanical body structure.
I'm also interested in making the articulated colossal Indominus Rex figure but I haven't found it yet for a reasonable price.

What did you use for the extra articulation
I mostly used Gorilla Pod's ball joint pieces for extra articulation. The only exception was Kong's knees. I used Marvel Select Unleashed Hulk's shoulder joints for that.

What are the ball and socket joints you used for the head and neck? They look like PVC?
I used different sized gorillapods (smaller tripods for cameras) and their ball joints for the Kong.
They had 3 battles

You mean that orange one? I think it's called "Hot pen". It's mainly used to carve wood decorations.

@@Titanuswilzilla2 Those are gorillapod's ball sockets/ joints. Usually used as camera stands. They come in different sizes.
