And the middle name, Mercy, Kim (@trackclubbabe) wrote recently in her post, “God gave me the name Mercy while I was going THROUGH it this summer. It was a reminder of His faithfulness and mercy on me even in my lows. Every day of her life, I will pray that ‘surely God’s goodness & mercy will never fail’ my Clark Mercy (Psalm 23). 😭🥰”

Kim has always wanted to name her firstborn Clark, even for a girl. She actually really wanted a girl. It was sweet seeing her dream come true, a baby girl named Clark. ✨

I love that they’ve named the first baby in the Clark family our family name Clark. 😄 “Clark is all of our last names, and it is her first name too.” 😄 Cute!

I’m still getting used to her name Clark, because when I think of Clark, I think of our last name. But it’s her first name too! 😄 I’ve been calling her, “baby” like “Hi baby” and “I love you, baby”.

I still call her, “Baby Clark”. Eventually, baby Clark is going to grow up and I will drop the “baby”. 😄

Baby Clark was sleeping when we filmed this video… she has been sleeping a lot lately… I guess that’s what newborns do?! 😄

yes!! but I won't have to do much because I have the best sign language teacher that will be teaching her sign!!! everyone in my family (my husband included) signs! ;-)

CONGRATULATIONS on the the beautiful niece 💖✨ I became an aunt for the very first time a couple of months ago too and the feeling of filling this role has been so rewarding! My wife and I don't have kids of our own and I genuinely cannot put into words what it's like to love our nephew, and to watch him grow. In fact, I love that little man so much, I saw a pair of dinosaur Crocs I COULD NOT pass up while shopping........so I bought them for him. The shoes will fit him when he is 3 years old..........he is 3 MONTHS old lmao 😁

I beg you to rethink this most HORRIBLE of names. For one, she's going to grow up with everyone assuming she's a boy, and for two, she has the same first and last name, so it sounds idiotic: Clark Clark. For three, "Mercy" is just plain awful, and negative, too.
I am sorry, and I hesitated to write any of this, but she is very young, and it probably is not too late to change her name. Please, I beg of you, fix this mess. She does not deserve a LIFETIME of defending her name - and that is EXACTLY what you have stricken her with.
The mother's maiden name is Clark. I'm guessing, she probably took her husband's last name and the last name of Baby Clark will be her father's last name, not Clark. Ashley did put in the description box, reasoning for the name and one can infer from there that the baby's last name is not Clark.

clark's last name is not clark! ;-) I wanted her to have a part of my family name since we are all girls-- it's a way to carry my family name into my family. the good thing is that we all can make the decisions that make us happy! i'm sorry you don't like her name, but i absolutely love it! have a wonderful day!!
