Hermit can drop any item on the pressure plate upon entry in the cooler... I just wanted to mention it.
I believe iron pressure plates are weighted so it would need to be a player or it won’t activate. Good call out though! /gen
There should be a telephone where there are phone food orders then come by later to pick it up with little to no patience, for extra rewards
For the remote ordering terminal, you should put all options in a list on every page, but highlight the one thats selected, that way it looks like you're scrolling through the options
It’s funny watching these videos come out knowing the frogger high scores are much higher now than in any of them

There was still some water in the Cauldron, you should have been able to fill at least one bottle.
Sound effect idea for eggificator: Tango's B-KAAHH!! when he falls off a ledge 😂
Idea: instead of using scaffolding for the tables use ice with carpets on top and banners on the sides to look like fancy tables but also so you can’t throw items onto the tables to avoid rats
For the carrot and potato thing on the farm, maybe use decorated pots since they only have one inventory slot
You have to break the pot to get the items back tho.
For the freezer door you could make it sound like someone struggling to pull open a frosted up door. (pushing it from the other side is easier)
When I first went in the walk in freezer the light was broken, it was pitch black, and I couldn't find the button to open the door. (I didn't have my phone as we weren't allowed them on us) Maybe you could make it dark in there and throw a short potion of blindness on the player (until their eyes adjust to the light).
Oooh, I can see myself playing for hours on both ravager rush and Tango's cuisine

A closed trapdoor above the armor stand when it breaks should keep the items from jumping up

The freezer door should stay open for 10-15 seconds, so that they can get themselves out most of the time, but have to call for help occasionally.
This will not work for solo playing.
I don’t know if this will fit into hungry hermits, but you can use bundles as quick to go menu items
It would be so nice for the small short duration audio cues to just be note blocks. I feel like tweaking and selecting custom audio for these small notifications is a low priority compared to all of the potential features that this game can have. Plus, it may save time and redstone space.
You should also do additional chatter just when the customers are in the restaurant
you should put snow above the pressure plate in the freezer so you never stop taking frost dmg

For plate up...yeah just like frogger it will get called it's brand name....I like your sounds but you should take Impulses idea and use those ones you did for the order to add Tangoness to the game!
Also if Xs game is anything to go by, get Etho to do your play testing.
Finally speaking of Etho, if your game is played half as much just make sure you price it good as his missing a shed load of diamonds 😂

Tango, you should swap your "new customer" sound with your "customer served successfully" sound.
The "new customer" sound reminds me of a cash register dinging, so it sounds more postve than alert-y.
It just occured to me how useful the replay mod would be to redstone debugging...
For October etho will need to set the lives to 1
It would be nice if it was clearly visible which tables are available for customers at a glance,
maybe denoted by redstone lamps / copper bulbs which are turned on, or blocks extended by a piston above/beside the table
Why make things more complicated than it should be. All the player needs to do is look and see a customer sitting at the table. If noone is sitting there, then there is no reason to worry about that table.

Just a small idea u should make a way for them to earn cookies and when they think they are taking too long to serve a customer theg can give them a cookie

A menu somewhere in the restaurant could be good decoration, and helpful for the players to know all. The possible options. For example at 11:12 , the customer says "beetroot". I think it would be good for players to be able to look up if both plain beetroot AND beetroot soup are options, because I personally would assume soup if I just saw "beetroot". Could also break up menu to show what recipes come with each difficulty spike
It's beetroot. If it was soup it would say beetroot soup. Just like how some of the orders were bottle water and not water. It eliminates the "assuming" part of if its a water bucket or a bottle water.

Can someone please explain to me how the armor stands are getting animated? I know there were changes in the armor stand mod but how is this happening without player involvement?
Hermitcraft has a datapack that allows them to modify armour stands (If you've watched any Zombiecleo episodes or perhaps seen BDubs or Mumbo's recent episodes you may have seen it used). That aforementioned datapack allows you to save created poses into a book. If you then place that book in an item frame, then power the block that item frame is in, it'll find the nearest armour stand and then set it's pose to the pose saved in the book.
Tango is using that in the queue system to change the armour stand as it goes through the queue (pressure plates and string are used to activate the redstone).

The ravagers are certainly the number one stat for all the hermits to which mob they've died to the most. 😅

It would be funny to test that by just putting a bunch of ravagers in a pen. I'd bet hermits would show up and try to see who can survive in the pen the longest.

Friendly neighborhood redstone bug hunter here, the tripwire for the "new customer incoming" sound can qc power the piston below the smoothstone the hook is sitting on.
I think that would make the button behind the customer not work while an armourstand is flowing by.
By replacing the stone the hook is on with glass, that shouldnt happen anymore.
PS. please keep doing the redstone nerdy bits during stream, i love watching along and bughunt with you

I love that this season has a community vibe to it. All of his vids now include a ton of hermit interaction. Even his streams get derailed because of community and Im Loving It
I just love how Scar's character canonically has 6 pack abs and he makes a point of showing it everytime 😂

The lesson I learned today was to code in womp-womp-womp sounds early so that when there are bugs, the sounds will be on point :)

Tango, I notice you avoid stepping on the pressure plate when serving the customer and hitting the button.
Will stepping on it reset the order or break something? Because the Hermits are absolutely going to step on those multiple times, especially while rushing around!

@@SliferStreaming Tongo sounds like a very easy slip up (which is cute and funny in it’s own right) but Tang Tang took time and thought on Scar’s behalf and that makes it all the better lol
Sound effect for the freezer could be ice being chipped away. Like the door freezes shut. I think that would make sense that it'd be harder to open from the inside since it opens in as well if it was frozen.
And he's already got plenty of icy crackle noises left over from last season!

When you get Zedaph's lock items for the carrot and potato bins, you need to bring Zedaph over and ask him for his luscious golden lochs.
As a suggestion for the fridge decorations, light blue candles look like icicles! :D
(and I guess blue glass panes as well from the ceiling also work!)
I think Etho underestimated the hermit's skill and determination to outdo each other lol. He may need a few more ravagers.
He needs to up the price and take full advantage of that determination.

Seeing the freezer section made me wonder two things since it introduces taking damage into the game. What happens if someone dies during the game? It seems unlikely that someone would stand in the freezer long enough to freeze to death, but also I can totally see it happening. The other thing is will there be a way for the players to heal between rounds? So they don't slowly accumulate damage over the course of the game and don't run out of hunger points.
They could need to cook a quick 'family meal' to nourish the restaurant staff while on a shift.
There's a hermit that goes by GoodTimesWithScar. It would be this man that finds out what would happen if you die in this game.
Have you considered using a pot instead of a barrel, at the farm? It'd eliminate the need for a locked inventory icon, since it could only hold one type of item.
But you cant take items out of decorated pots without breaking the pot and then having to replace it, right?

@@luizmiguel418You could use a hopper leading into a hidden dropper that is pulsed until empty. The hopper could be locked by default and unlocked when the player clicks a button.
It'd be nice if hungry hermits had a way to tell the player why they lost. Eg. different sounds for different game-over conditions, or dropping a piece of paper with a reason in the name somewhere in the game setup area.
You can animate armor stands with redstone? That's incredibly cool.

I think it's done by copying a pose to the armour stand book and putting it in a dispenser.

It’s the armor stand book, if you save a pose in it and put it in an item frame then when a redstone dust in the same block is powered it will apply that pose to the nearest armor stand.

The freezer door should be a lever instead of a button. Leaving the door open too long will cause rotten flesh to occasionally drop even if the snowball hits the target successfully.
Players will have to weigh the cost-benefit of leaving the door open a little so only one player is needed, but risking having to throw multiple snowballs.

Don't worry about other people's time played and score so much, tango, just play for fun and see how well you can do, and when you get bored with it then stop

An easy fix for the armor stand and string bug would be to drop them down a deeper shaft. So the pieces can't fly up and hit the string anymore. Great game tango, can't wait to see the chaos of the hermits trying to play it. Lol
