This is fantastic. And gets me thinking, a separate soundtrack sounds almost plausible for TecToy given how they went to the effort of not just translating games, but reworking them too. It'd be funny if Brazil was still the face of SEGA's market in the whole region like they were back then
this sounds exactly like something that would play in a gangsta clip in the 90's. and as a Brazilian, I fucking love it. alright, in deepth details of the song. one thing I've noticed at the start is the "Freeze!" sound effect, which actually matches which what I said earlier with this being a "gangsta" 90's clip. and the whole theme of this song just matches Eggman perfectly, the instrumentation and everything just fits perfectly with a boss theme. it's a bit hard to explain, but this just works perfectly. imo, this South American OST perfectly captures the feeling of South America in the 90's, and this song is definitely the definition of this entire OST. perfection.
This OST is from the alternative universe where La Patria Grande was successful, becoming a powerful nation comparable with the United States of North America. Real talk,I really wish the United States of South America were a thing 😔
THATS INCREDIBLE,MAAAAAN YOU DID A AMAZING MUSIC,and i found a funny thing,if you slow down this music to 0,8 is looks like a mafia boss theme, but still A AMAZING SUPER DUPER WORK YOU DID RIGHT HERE,keep whit it
I’ve been listening to your playlist of tracks for a few days now, and let me just say, these are AMAZING. You are incredibly talented. I wish we had more guys like you actually working at Sega, the talent on display is immaculate. If I was to give constructive critique, I do think you rely a bit too much on the “SEGA Hideki Nanaguma” sample pack. That being said, some of these samples are so well mixed that it doesn’t bother me. As for this particular track, I love the direction you went with. Most main boss themes in the 2D games (3K, Mania, Superstars) are fast paced and frantic. This one’s totally more in-line with the JP CD boss and focuses more on a playful taunting kind of a vibe. I love the incomprehensible rapping at the beginning. I’m not sure what a “South American” OST is supposed to sound like, admittedly. But if I had to guess, this track would be it. The brass is so good. Phenomonal work.

Época boa cara, tectoy era boa naquela época, fazendo infância de muita gente da América do sul.
(Ela também tinha mercado na América Central?)
Oh, wow! This is still absolutely the feeling and vibe of the JP boss but at the same time it's an excellent new swing on things!
