I used to feel incredibly left out because I’ve never gotten into the halloween franchise, not for lack of trying, I just never could get into it. But now I’m glad, cuz I would be SO bummed out to have to wait!!!
@@DifferentTake favorite horror movie is The Descent. Favorite horror franchise is Final Destination. I don't mind slashers, I enjoy a few here and there, but those aren't the horror movies that REALLY get me. I do have a thing for the torture porn wave of the 2000's but I mainly love claustrophobic terror and real life scenarios like being STUCK somewhere! =) or deep psychological mind bending, time looping, "it was all a dream" or "they've been dead this entire time" stuff like that.

Slashers...I'm actually not big on the prototypical slashers. I like Halloween and the nightmare on elm st franchise, friday the 13th is more misses than hits, I'm very selective about my slashers. While watching this and i heard the theme creep in, then i heard the sirens, then i hear the Strodes start reacting saying no no no, then they show the firetrucks, I was like, OH MY GOD. OH MY GOD NO. THEY'RE GONNA PUT OUT THE FIRE. OH NO😱. HE'S GONNA MASSACRE THE ENTIRE FIRE DEPARTMENT. HE'S GONNA WIPE THEM ALL OUT 😱then i heard Laurie just completely losing it...i was like, HOLY SHIT SHE'S FINDING OUT RIGHT NOW. ON THE TRUCK. SHE KNOWS HE'S GETTING OUT😱THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING. And JLC'S acting was just phenomenal in such a short clip. It just took the scene to another level. It blew my mind!
Yeah i couldn't tell if it was new or if it was just the theme at the end of Halloween 2018 "the shape burns". Either way it was awesome. Definitely speechless. First you hear the firetrucks then you hear Laurie just flipping out and we realize she's finding out right there in the truck! And JLC sold that whole thing, she owned that whole scene! She gave me goosebumps dude!
I said about how much I liked it on Facebook and people were like getting upset i enjoyed the little we got, at least we got something, just a little bit more to get pumped about, damn when michael turns his head, awe hell yea

I wouldn't be surprised if we get a similar 30 second teaser on halloween 2020, then in spring of 2021, we get the first full trailer. How JLC feels politically is her own prerogative. However she feels is her business, and I'm in no position- and neither is any other fan- to tell her what she should or shouldn't say or believe. Halloween fans can disagree with her beliefs, or agree or be indifferent-but the fans should respect her opinion just as much as they would want people to respect their own opinions.

Dolly Parton is a great example of keeping her opinions to herself, because she doesn't want to lose fans, or make them feel line outcasts, because they don't think the way she does. She says her job is to entertain, so she entertains. I think more people of the entertainment industry should be more like her.
