The way Stewie imagines Rupert as a muscular man with a bear’s head always made me laugh.
I know it's weird but i kinda like how he imagine him like this.
Stewie is still a baby, so there is tons of time for him to discover his sexuality (which is gay )😁
stewie's only gay when they want to make jokes about it, whenever theres an actual storyline about him being in love or a relationship its always with a girl
@@marccampble3831 rupert's a teddy bear. they'd never ever make an episode with him and a male baby being in a romantic relationship like they have done multiple times with female babies.
thats exactly what she said in the video why make a comment about it?
@@anti_s0ra_v1 i made the comment about the topic before watching the video
GREAT LYDIA LOVES TIMELINES FAMILY GUY STEWIE GRIFFIN MESS UP LOVE LIFE HISTORY VIDEO.
@@arobin6695that’s weird, it’s literally like two minutes into the video…
To answer your question about Connie, the last time we saw her she faked her death to get Lois in Jail and is caught, so I think she is probably in jail or Juvie lol
Ah yes. The episode where she murdered Peppa Pig
Actually we see her again in the background of another episode where Chris is chasing a birthday dollar working at a strip club
@@PineappleMagicianepisode?!
@@PineappleMagician that was before "Connie's Cecilia"
I'm a 50 year old man who has been married for 25 years , have two grown sons and have been in law enforcement for almost 30 years and I still have my favorite teddy bear.
That's absolutely adorable and so sweet. I still have my lamb doll my parents gave me at 6 months old and I'm currently 20!
I don't have a teddy bear but I do have an old Curious Gorge plush that I've had from birth and I still have with me even tho I'm a teen I never plan on giving it away
this is wonderful! stuffed toys can bring everyone joy.
I always thought Vinnie finding Penelope would've been better than Olivia. She needs her own Brian to confide in and keep her in check. A friend who's always there for her
I really need all 3 characters to come back at some point. Vinnie should have been found by Penelope, tbh. Though, I'm unsure if he'll have the same effect and could have her mellow out like Stewie.
Speaking facts.
Not sure they would have kept Tony Sirico around too long to voice Vinnie due to his age at the time. On that same note RIP to Tony Sirico.
If you didn't mention the dogs and teddy bears I would have said Stewie Griffin is bi but if you ask me he's best match is with Olivia or Roger from American Dad.
I also think Stewie is bi!
i agree. he's def bi or pan
@@zero7769same thing
Nah, pan is more literally anybody goes. Bisexuality is purely for the two binary genders
👆
No, not really. *Bisexuality generally refers to people who feel attracted to more than one* gender, like male or female. Pansexuality typically refers to those who feel an attraction to people regardless of gender, basically like saying- "I love you and don't give a fuck about your gender. Female, male or gender fluid doesn't matter."
Monosexual bias: is stewie gay or straight?
People can be bisexual... could stewie be bisexual? Idk. I feel like a lot of his romantic relationships are very preformative. He might just be mimicking what he sees the adults around him doing.
Hes a baby, its weird we even see him date at all
I feel like relationships are really the only thing the writers know how to write.
Crazy how the writers or some people don't know about Bisexuality lmao.
I love your PFP
Stewart is pansexual
hes a baby, its weird we even see him speaking in complete sentences with a grown man voice...
It’s a cartoon where a talking dog, who is very much treated like a dog in the story, bangs multiple human women. It’s not that weird that Stewie gets into romantic relationships.
Stewie’s many loves certainly are a great way to remind us that Stewie is not your typical baby and that’s why he’s one of my favs
He was pregnant with Brian Child 😂
🤮
@@RRM693MAZEL TOV!!!!
I LOVE THAT EPISODE🤣😆🤣😆
ChildREN he had a litter lol
I have mixed feelings about that episode
I mean if we’re talking what brings out the best in Stewie, it’s Penelope. Olivia enrages him. Brian brings out a condescending and exasperated jackass. Rupert is a clear sign of psychosis. Penelope made Stewie happy. He loved committing acts of destruction. He felt good. The only reason he fought her was because she threatened Brian. Just because a couple is wrong for the world around them, doesn’t mean they’re wrong for each other. (as screwed up as that sounds)
The only reason why Penelope brings out the evil in Stewie is because she want to do evil things. And it has been a while since Stewie has done anything that reminded us from the earlier seasons.
If Penelope wasn't so focused on destruction, both would've had a better time being a couple.
@@marccampble3831yeah but see Penelope made Stewie HAPPY Olivia just made him mad and jealous always trying to be better then her because she made her self look perfect and Stewie just wanted that so badly and Olivia kind took that from him and took his happiness with it before they were even together Penelope made Stewie so happy she loved him for his personality and who he was inside and they had so many things in common. You saying they weren't meant for each other just because they did bad things is literally like saying Bonnie and Clyde weren't meant for each other bc they did bad shit to. Love is built by getting to know the other person real personally and deep and finding things you both love doing together ECT. And that's EXACTLY what him and Penelope had. The ONLY reason the relationship didn't work out is because she didn't like Brian and wanted to hurt him. Otherwise honestly I think they would have made it. They were two peas in a pod and Stewie had A LOT more patience with Penelope then he has had in ANY other relationship he worked with her at her own pace and didn't stop until she got it right. They were perfect for each other NO DOUBT.
I mean Brian also grounds Stewie, it's not a stretch to say he stopped his plans for world domination the more he a Brian grew close together.
Someone making you happy doesn't mean they are good for you. There are couples that bond over their mutual drug abuse. They may be happy, but they aren't good for each other. They enable each other to get worse.
If anything, you could argue that Brian brings out the best in Stewie. Stevie had mostly moved on from doing anything destructive and was focusing on his science stuff. The closer they got throughout the series, the more evolved and less violent Stewie became. He was perfectly happy with Penelope until she positioned herself against Brian. Brian advises Stewie to leave Penelope. Penelope advises him to kill Brian. Basically, Stewie has the classic devil and angel on his shoulders- with Brian representing the good in Stewie.
Stewie refers to Penelope as his "one true soulmate", but the subtext is that Brian is his actual soulmate (platonically). They have a lot of toxicity in their relationship, but the love between them is always there.
Please do Doug as a character. I HATED him, so I'm honestly glad he is gone.
However Chris Parnell as Jerry from Rick and morty is amazing, and Cyril Figgis is possibly my favorite role of his. Would love to see you tackle archer as a show.
While I do like the idea of Chris Parnell playing against his loser/punching bag type (especially Slade in My Adventures with Superman), I think they just had a bad execution. I like the idea of Stewie having a rival, similar to him in every way, I just think he came at the wrong time and was just handled poorly overall. Plus, I find it confusing that he's supposed to be 1 if not 2 or almost 2, and they treat him and his classmates like they're at least 4. Made more sense when they did it with Rollo in The Cleveland Show establishing him as a young child, but post toddler age.
you really dont miss doug?
What happened to Doug? I haven’t kept up since the 2020 season.
@@ChrisSuperDude You know, I forget if they actually killed or otherwise wrote him off or just stopped using him altogether. FG does have a habit of killing off most of their weaker gag characters and not bringing them back. I think I missed an episode.
@@mightyfilm Killed off off camera, when him and Stewie were running against each other in daycare elections.
I see Stewie being more Bi or Pan
but it could be he is gay but only "dated" girls because most of the relationships he sees are straight ones but he has shown genuine interest in girls which is why I go with Bi or Pan though I lean more on pan
I put dated in quotation because he's a baby so I see it more like puppy love or play dates with extra steps
Yeah I've always thought of him as Bi or Pan. Not sure if Seth knew was Pansexual was when he first made the Series
Labels and terms like 'pansexual', 'panromantic' or 'fluid' (from 0:22) in the context of sexuality and gender are non-academic internet lingo, and the Family Guy writers know this. Although they won't necessarily specify what Stewie's sexuality is, the show will always go out of its way to joke about the state of made-up nonsense in gender politics and misinformation regarding sexualities on social media platforms.
I hope one of the Hulu Family Guy specials is definitively set in the future so we can see what Stewie is like in his adulthood
We have seen his adulthood. He ends up being a like 40 yo virgin who does nothing with his life because of a traumatic event that happened at the pool. They go into the future a lot and show us what could be later on in there life's
They have a lot of that but the thing about family guy is this, the future, present and past isn't fixed. A lot of the looks into the future, stewie is either married to a man or a woman
stewie was going to come out before he got interrupted at Thanksgiving 😂
You didnt mention it but Chris Griffin even said at one point when Brian killed Chris and Stewie's pet squirrel something along the lines of "He is YOUR best friend or is he even MORE than that ?" I like that joke too that even the creators see that "ship" (in a joking way not a serious way)
That "BING BONG!!! HELLOO!!!!!!!" 19:49 Always got me 😂😂😂

That episode where Brian ate Rupert, it really was a missed opportunity to have a callback to the episode where Stewie went back in time to save Brian
I'm gutted I couldn't watch this immediately but my dinner arrived at that exact moment and I wanted to make sure you had my undivided attention.
Gotta admit I feel a bit sorry for Stewie at the end of Dammit Janet. I got one thing to say and that's "Dammit Janet, I loathe you!" And if you don't get that reference you must watch The Rocky Horror Picture Show as soon as you possibly can.
The thing with the Back To The Future plot is that you really have to stop thinking about it before actual BTTF gets too gross. Most studios rejected the film because they didn't think it was raunchy enough. Disney thought it was too much.
Little fact for you Lyds: You know what other film Disney was interested in but wanted to lighten up a bit? A Nightmare On Elm Street. Obviously they wanted to cut out the fact that Freddy Krueger is a pedo file (I deliberately spelt that wrong) but why did they even want the script anyway? I haven't seen the film though, the whole concept scares me. I can't even think about Jaws without crapping bricks.
Haven't got much else to add, so even though I'm on the wrong channel, and a couple of days late, I'll just say: Happy 60th birthday Yeardley Smith. 💛
Hey Jack, hope you're good! I had no idea Disney were interested in that. I love the Nightmare on Elm Street series. My husband has the box set signed by Robert Englund
@@LydiaLovesTimelines Hi Lyds. 👋 Unfortunately I’m not doing too good this week, I’ve got a fever so my whole body from my head to my stomach feels like shit. And on the first week of my summer holiday as well! I hate my body sometimes. This video took my mind off it for a while though. Stewie is my favourite character, but it’s just funny to think about how one of the most evil characters in cartoon history somehow managed to become almost likeable by Family Guy standards. Keyword being “almost”.
@@LydiaLovesTimelines And my parents will be jealous of your husband because of that signed set. I’d love to get a DVD signed one day. Hopefully one day I can, maybe someday I can go to a Red Dwarf convention and get some of those DVDs signed. I can’t go to a US Comic Con so I’m starting with slightly more realistic expectations.
Yay, I was hoping you'll do stewie next. I love every stewie dating episode.
"You're pregnant with my baby?"
3:34 "Lose the pigtails and we'll talk. Do her, do her" You missed the rest of it 😂😂😂
Stewie seems to like older guys and not Boys his age For the girls he seems to like both older and ones his age. I think it could be easier if they just make him Bi instead of just staying he is gay when the plot demands it.
Why do people like to forget bisexuality exists, especially the writers? There’s too many gay jokes for him for him not he interested in guys romantically and needs to date a guy atleast once
Penelope was Stewie actually lost love. Who agrees?
Pretty wild we're talking about the sexual history of a baby 😭
I would say that Stewie is bicurious, since he has bad experiences dating women and just wants to do that stuff with his best buddy.
you've really been on a roll lately with these videos
Can you do a deep dive on Marge from the Simpsons franchise please I feel I lost touch with that character over time especially later seasons lol 😅 😂 you don't have to but we appreciate all your hard work I've been subscribed to you for a long time and I'm so happy with how far you have come over time 😊 🕊
Wow... Stewie has so many love interests at age 1 for over 20 years!..me at 20?....0.🤣
14:46 Damn! I live only an hour north of San Francisco and I never even bothered to go see Mrs doubtfire's house for the full House. Although I'm sure the novelty of it must have worn off pretty quickly once going there.
Its a kinda cake 😂
I’ve never clicked on a video so fast in my entire life
Hello, Lydia! Its been a little while since you uploaded! I also gotta say how funny it is that Stewie has sooo many love interests even though he's only 1 but then he does talk lol
Like Stewie said to his therapist, he is not gay, there are episodes and cutaways where he is pretty gay though for a joke.
Exactly. It’s for a joke. They have yet to do not joking episodes about his supposed. homosexuality
This is the content i look forward too 😌
Love the videos Lydia :)
Considering Seth McFarland has never been married maybe Stewie is a reflection of himself. Sometimes Brian is a reflection of Seth and sometimes Peter is the reflection. So why not Stewie, Seth is possibly Bi ?
@Lydia Loves Timelines I was gonna ask where's Eliza pinchley (from s3e4) but I look backed on clips of episode just make sure and it turns out they never formed any romantic interests in each other Stewie only taught her "proper" English as a one-sided bet he made against Brian which he only made to shut Stewie up for a week but by the end of the episode her father gets hanged thanks to Lois and now Eliza is stuck in an orphanage and sends a letter to Stewie threatening to kill his which was all too happy read that
Mmm I have to disagree, he had more chemistry with Eliza than Susie Swanson and Susie is on this list.
@@Forestcat909 true but it never really came off as anything romantic more like a teacher proud of his student kind of thing the only instance we're it seemed romantic was him dancing and singing with when she finally said a sentence "correctly" but then that's kinda stretching it
Best Relationship: Rupert.
Worst Relationship: Brian.
Am I the only one who thought Stewie and Doug had a crush on each other?
I thought he'd eventually be 1 of his love interest in a enemy to lover thing but then he died😂
Family guy needs to give Stewie a baby male love interest
Rupert’s ageless
Brian’s only ten years old so..
15:07 He’s Bi Bryan
Great job team!
Thank you!
(Ik i alr commented but shush) i wish family guy would get more serious with the whole stewie liking guy aswell thing because i dont really like it just being a joke they use whenever they feel like it especially because imo when they do it feels so random like they just all of a suddenly remembered they had the joke of stewie being gay but knowing family guy they probably wont do anything with it because well.. i dont think i need to explain but it really would be nice for them to dedicate a episode that delt with stewies love life again but with another man but fair enough like they said he’s only a baby so.
I thought when they introduced Doug, that he would be Stewie’s boyfriend, but they did nothing with him.
best family guy character OAT
You know what would be funnier than Bonnie being pregnant for 25 year? If she had the baby, but in the next episode she's 9 months pregnant again for the rest of the series and when someone asks, but didn't you have the baby? She says, yeah but Joe knocked me up again. Even though she wouldn't be 9 months pregnant and Joe's been paralyzed from the waist down since the first kid.🤣
GOT HERE QUICKLY
“Hey…. Guess where I have a crayyyon 😉”
2:36 why he roll his r like that? 😭😭😭 "oat meal rrraison loving tart!"
Stewie has always carried this show for me. Just like Roger Smith, he's so out of the box and such a fun character that steals every scene he's in.
You need a, Drunken Clam sign, to represent Family Guy in your Virtual Studio.
I would disagree, Stewie has had a boyfriend Doug, they may not have been official, but I would say Doug was Stewies boyfriend.
Why do you say Called instead of Named, when it comes to representing people??
Funny thing about Brian & Stewie's relationship.
Chris is the only one who seems to think there's something MORE between them. He, at one point, even asked Stewie if he & Brian were a couple.
"Are you and Brian a couple?"
And once again implies that Stewie & Brian were MORE than friends in that episode with that squirrel that was killed.
"He's practically your best friend, or maybe even MORE than that"
Yeah, Chris KNOWS something we don't 🤣
What about Oscar 😢 who sadly ended his life after realizing Stewie loved Rupert.
Hey Lydia! just wanna say I love your videos. I hope you're having a great day! Alba Gu Brath!!! (I'm actually American lol)
That Chardonnay joke is even funnier cause he is supposed to go on a date with Olivia
They should've brought Penelope back. She and Stewie were a fun villain duo.
What about that Fran lady from the future episode with past-and-future Stewies mingling?
First off, I'm going to throw this out as a suggestion, but a video on American Dad's Klaus and his many failed attempts to get with Denuta is something I'd love for you to cover.
Anyway, I love how his first romantic episode was a perfect encapsulation of the original concept for Stewie (and by extension, Brian). The overly precocious, overly grown up, and overly intelligent cartoon of a toddler having to co-exist with more realistic children and surroundings. He's trying to foist adult feelings and concepts onto a toddler who doesn't know what love or a relationship or friendship is, only to be burned that someone his own age is only in it for instant gratification. Similar to Brian, of course, because he's the smart talking dog amongst other dogs that aren't. Meanwhile, I do like the Penelope episode because it's basically more modern, calmer Stewie confronting his murderous, cold calculating side. Not just a "meet his match" episode so much as a "look how far the character has evolved" episode. Penelope basically pulling Stewie back to his super villain phase, Brian trying to give him back the level of empathy he gained over the seasons.
I would love to see Penelope make a return.
6:22 Lydia, I vote Yes on a Doug Video
I'm continually baffled how the family guy community constantly overlooks the bestiality with Brian and all his different women, which horrifies me. Is it because everyone loves Brian? or that people just love dogs so much they don't care that all these women are banging a dog? It just seems so messed up that its never truly talked about. There are a lot of creepy moments on the show, but Brians relationships are just considered normal to everyone.
I Love Your Channel & Videos
Stewie’s Relationships are sometimes bad
Bruh why does everyone think Stewie is gay?, if anything he's bi or pan. We never saw him dating boys we only see him flirting with them
Stewie is bi just like his parents lol
You forgot Eliza, the British girl he taught how to talk.
I don't believe they were a couple. He was only her teacher
Personally, I see Stewie as bisexual since he's a baby and all. Especially given, like gou said in the video, that Stewie is only gay when the writers want to make a gay joke.
Surprised you didn't bring up Oscar, Stewie's former bear, during the Rupert section. That episode showed Stewie feeling like he and Rupert were in a rut, when the old flame comes back into town (out of the attic) and causes some trouble and old feelings to come bubbling back up
Yeah I wanted to save some stuff for a bigger deep dive into Rupert further down the road :)
@@LydiaLovesTimelinesvery fair

haha true, but she appeared again quite alot after this I think

The real problem with stewie’s relationship is that the writers shifting emotional maturity levels all over the place so it’s only natural for them to not pan out. 6:50 😅

Yeah I plan to make more Bobs Burgers videos this year. Just brain storming ideas :)
The Doug video would be great
Please do a Doug video
How does a one year old have WAY more of a love life than me?
Doug has the staying power I wish Hudson had.
You should do Chris next, he’s had many girlfriends
You forgot about adult stewies' love interest. In the episode, when adult Stewie travels back in time, and toddler Stewie follows him back to the future.
I feel like the reason they killed off Doug is because Chris Parnell is busy recording RICK AND MORTY FOREVER AND EVER. A HUNDRED YEARS. RICK AND MORTY.
So early, but love this!
Stewie is the best character in Family Guy no doubt
As much as Stewie loves Rupert, it’s one sided. I don’t know what episode it was. But there was one where Stewie was acting like him and Rupert were talking. Then when he left, Rupert turned to the other stuffed animals and said, “hey just so you all know I’m not gay”.
celeb guest stars are always a double-edged sword. on the one hand, too egregious, self-absorbed cameos as themselves ruin the ep but perfect integration in legitimate roles and it leaves you longing for more of the character.
