    This is a good one. I steal pots constantly. People fold too much, especially early in tournaments. The later it gets and the better the opposition, the less straight forward it gets though.

    I like your videos! I just bought Mastering Small Stakes and so far I'm really enjoying it. It's helping out my poker game more than some other old books on cash games

    it's called "smelling weakness" on the table. Where there is a complete call pre-plop to scare on flop.

    Good stuff. I'm wondering however, what's the correct play when the board is a bit more wet with a four flush or even 76 seems like a flop we should consider a 1/3 or 1/2 bet?

    Good video!If you are not stealing pots that don’t belong to you then no way can you make money at poker.
    Especially at lower stakes a check from the pfr on a wet board means no top pair/over pair or decent draw so when an undercard hits turn you should almost bet any junk that can’t win by showdown.
    Also when you are pfr try checking those top pairs and flush draws on wet flops against aggressive players,don’t bother against weak passives.

    How do you know if a pot is really ripe for stealing or if someone is not just trapping?

    • @Gos1234567
      @Gos1234567 4 роки тому +1

      Usually if the flop is wet people won’t check,like J 7 6 two flush,if the pfr checks there we’ll get hasn’t a flush draw,over pair or top pair,even a made straight mightn’t check there.
      So start bluffing and even if the 3Rd flush card hits you can rep it.
      But the trickiest players are the ones that check the top pairs,over pairs and flushes here so make note of these (rare at lower stakes)

      If the flop slams their range, I give them credit for trapping. You can always min bet and find out. It only has to work 1/2 the time or less to be profitable. If you think someone is doing it against you, you can raise them and make them think you’re trapping.
