Stephen didn't plant the doubts. Rod did. Now he's getting a taste of his own medicine: there was a time when Stephen had similar doubts when he was married to Betty. Considering how things have turned out i'd say that Stephen was very intuitive.
Boy that Susan character inspires hatred! And yes, since when is Betty and Rod's house right beside the garage?? When they talked about buying it, it was a 'converted barn outside of town' Details, people, details! haha! Love this show!
Betty loves Steven always has always will, she married Rod because of old man Peyton’s will saying when she marries Rod she will inherit $15 million dollars - any woman would do that!
If Betty lets Steven inside her house, especially at night, no matter how innocent she is, she deserves Rodney to dump her, first in car, now midnight at home, what the hell, she knows there are doubts, can not she go at his office at daylight at least……..
I agree with you democolor42. I see her as unstable. Rod is no innocent saint, but I just don't see Betty as someone that will be a stable wife like Rita is.

Very true & rod is kind very insecure now.

I know. And if you notice, the location of "The Shoreline" also changed places compared to where it was early on in the series.
Wish the writers would have maintained consistency. Even the characters switch their attitudes in mid sentence.
Colonial Inn, where you run into all your exes. Yikes.
Lol
😂😂😂😂 if wife runs away husband can easily find her at Inn
Yeah, even happened to Lee!!
Betty plays both Stephen and Rod like a coupla Fiddles. Boy, Fred's been cheating for a while and poor Doc Rossi got sloppy seconds.
Betty & Rod's house is not on the Wharf, so how could he (Norman) see Steven show up and Betty let him in?
the house was suppose to be around 15-20 miles out of town
Betty must have moved into the Weber house ;)
@@kopachuk08 LOL!!

I don’t see Betty going back to her abuser, Steven.
Marsha, Marsha, Marsha, looked jealous. Mike can't catch a break with chicks.
Repeating Marsha's name? Hmmm!:-) Ironically Peyton Place ended in June,1969 while The Brady Bunch started in the fall of 1969.

nothing wrong with her going in that car!!! it was either that or sit there with them waiting for him. Rod has NO reason to be jealous
steven is just trying to help Rodney and Betty knows that. Norm is a jerk

Carolyn how old are you now?!
I am so tired of her big head, hell bent on attacking her mother with her words. Carolyn probably why her daddy left home, to get away from her.
36
What Norm lacks in maturity, he gained in eye sight.
Lol
Wow, Fred definitely upgraded from Marsha.
Is there any hope at all for Joe? !
