I don't like that Kareena is selling herself short vis a vis Jaydeep and Vijay in her interviews as she is a Fabulous actress! Unlike people who have to learn the craft to get better, acting for her is in her DNA and second nature to her. She should get more accolade and appreciation for her acting by the critics. She is different in every role in a very subtle manner and most importantly, she is sooo captivating, charismatic and mesmerising on screen.. these are things that cannot be taught or imbibed! One is just born that way
I totally agree with you but I think most of that is her own fault. Kareena’s my favorite actress but she leaves me a bit frustrated with her after every interview. She always sells herself very short while others lie, manipulate, etc, and embellish themselves and come off better than they really are. She’s constantly putting herself down, saying things like she has no brains, is uneducated, not a graduate, Kapoors only like food and have no brains etc. That’s why she does not get the accolades and appreciation she deserves because she basically tell people she’s not worth it.......I don’t know how this can escape Saif, her sister, family, whole team, close friends to advice her to take a quick class learning how to manage media, answer questions effectively, and express herself articulately. It’s been detrimental to her and is the need of the hour especially when everyone else has been doing so.

However that’s not all Kareena is, she’s also very instinctive and intuitive and does not have to prepare much like other actors. I’ve heard all of her directors say the same thing, that she does not prepare and often distracts herself with phone or conversations while they’re having a heart attack wondering if she’d be able to pull off the scene and then she bangs it out, first shot mostly and they are left stunned and pleased so maybe that’s why she says she’s a Director’s actor, not wanting to sound like she’s bragging........ Don’t know why Ranbir’s movies fail, maybe wrong choices, bad luck, cursed, whatever but there can be no doubt that he’s a great actor.
Kareena really needs to loose the weight ..they should take a page from shilpa shetty or swetha tiwari book ...I think she has a lot of refined sugar and alcohol....which ages you tremendously .....even kareena kapoor looks younger to her
