Really enjoyed the walk through. My Halls are really doing good for the first year. One of the Lanes is doing real good. Other lane is way behind. Glad you like those to types. I may look at a Oh My later. Again great little video
@@FrogRogers thank you. I would hold on with Oh My. Dr Conner said there are some promising seedless varieties being tested. He only said Oh My is just ok. I like all his releases so far so I am very excited about what is to come.
I have 1 space for a muscadine and had to make a hard choice between all the varieties. I ended up pre-ordering Supreme. Surpreme is what Ison sells for fresh muscadine so I figured, if that's the variety they sell for fresh muscadines, then it must be really good. I really wanted the Ruby red though. lol
Black Beauty is a sport vine clone variant of Supreme by Ison Nursery. Have you ever tried the old cultivar South Land? while it's smaller, it's much more pungent with it's aromatic profile & almost as sweet. as productive as Supreme. But a much healthier for vigorous prolific vine.
@@Pay-It_Forward Black Beauty is definitely not a sport of Supreme. They taste very different. I have not had South Land. I read that it is late so I didnt get it. I can only grow early a d Early mid season varieties here.
Another good video Kenny. I have about 12 air layered vines still attached to the main vine. When should I cut them off and plant them in pots? Should I do that now or wait until spring? Also I have a self fertile black muscadine that started ripening in early July, much earlier than any other muscadine vine I have. It is a tight bunched muscadine with a strong sweet muscadine flavor. Do you have any idea what muscadine vine it could be? Thanks.
Greetings brother, I also live in northern Virginia and I really liked your trees, is it possible to get some cuts from fruit trees to grow in the yard? Thanks much

I enjoy your opinions on all those varieties. Your vineyard is loaded this year. Do you get help pruning your vines or is it all on you?
@@Sidneytx my retired father did all the work.
