Installing an EGR blanking plate on the SR180. Valve was cleaned two weeks ago and was majorly coked. Car is being mapped in a few weeks so any codes that appear will be removed then
Thanks to your video I had the confidence to clean my own egr valve & where it joins it was really bad after 131K Miles next job blanking plate & mapped off 💪🏻
Quick question about the corolla. I just got one n I'm thinking about the eBay turbo package. Once done will it require a remap and will it lose its lift? Sorry for the dumb question. Respect

How did the car drive once mapped and EGR blanked? Did you get the Particle system deleted too? I'm planning on getting an Auris SR180 3dr soon but i'd like to know how the car runs with the map and in terms of reliability. Thanks
@@daveyboiyeah my car is in the process of being mapped. I haven't blanked or done anything to the EGR but I'm thinking about it. I've never had a problem with the EGR in 40K miles so I don't think there's a point in having it removed. It takes 30 minutes total to remove, clean out and refit. I haven't had a problem with the car at all in almost 30K miles so there that. Before having it mapped I had the Lindop Tuning box. Had it on the max setting for probably 10k miles or so. Worked really well. Low down torque it much better., mid range is good too. I'm selling mine at the moment as I've had it remapped.
@@lilPOPjim Hey iv also got the lindop tuning box but how does the remap compare to the tuning box? Also im getting injector knock every now and then and somtimes feels like its missing. Iv own the car around 3 years now and love it other then the injector knock and missing but cannot get to the bottom of it. How does your car run?
@@Jrautomotive1 my car runs perfectly. Since the remap the car keeps pulling allllll the way to 4K rpm where normally, and with the Lindop box it would start running out of puff after 3K rpm. Pulls really good. I haven't had the bottom end tuned yet but that getting done next week. The map is in development so it's taking time. Will have instant throttle response and better pull in the higher gears.

No it won't lose lift, the powerband will remain somewhat the same although you will have a lot more torque across the entire range
just bought T180 D-CAT and wanting to do the delete then remap.

Yes it did after about 10 miles
