Oh yes, Roman has many times but we just edit and edit and edit ;-)
the ram has the best interior and exterior and im a chevy guy
my dream truck
Amazing design and superb motor...The best heavy duty truck to date!
I LOVE! TFLs no Nonsense policy. In general yalls reviews are my favorite because it never has that "bought off" feel. All your numbers are real world, uncorrected honesty and I Love it.
The Ike Gauntlet tests :-), there isn't a better truck test/review/comparison done by anyone. Phenomenal Work guys. Please keep it up!
Love big trucks amd love murrica!
agreed. The HD ram is by far hands down the best looking new truck today and I'm a die hard chevy truck fan myself
A monster of a truck. If it can't tow it, you should consider a Peterbilt.
cant argue with you there.
That's a great shirt Roman!
@ adam thank you
My brother in law has a Longhorn to which he added one letter making it "Longhorny", my sister was not amused.
I am surprised Roman, you didn't mix up your "reporting for TFLTRUCK or TFLCAR" yet!!! Nice video!! Love you guys!
What about the high out out cummins with 385hp and 850lb of tourque
they don't do that tfl scale anymore damn
The videographer
I have this exact same truck, mines black on black though. Its a monster of a truck. I'm still amazed how large it is, though while driving, it feels completely manageable. I traded in my exact same 2008 truck for this one, except my '08 was 2WD instead of 4WD like in my '13. With the addition of 4WD, and the added length of a full-size crew cab back seat, this new truck is definitely much larger exterior & interior wise than my old one. The back seat is huge (and its not even a megacab). The only other truck I'd consider is a Ford, I like their interiors as well. In my opinion though, exterior wise, Ram wins hands down. Its truly a beautiful truck, I literally get daily compliments on it (which is kind of surprising because my '08 never got that kind of a reaction from people). I'd highly recommend one.
do more diesel reviews!!!!!!!!!!
My dream :')
This has been my dream truck it is pricy but I wouldn't use it for a lot of towing mostly just because it's a truck I've always wanted people say you shouldn't buy it for that reason but my gut is telling me go for it tough choice haha
the 2014 chevy 1500 interior is a huge upgrade and it looks amazing but i just think that rams interior is a little better. im fine with either in my truck though
Need that cummins smoke tho
When are we going to get to see the Superduty pull the horse trailer up the Ike?
Just so ya know that engine will be good for over a million miles with regularly scheduled maintenance.
The engine is great but for the rest of it... Well all go with a Denali or High Contry if offerd in the HD trucks
Ram 3500, the best.
Was 12mpg the average fuel economy because my cousin has a 2002 5.9L cummins just like that with slight mods and it gets 25mpg highway. We also got 15.5mpg pulling an 11,000 pound trailer from kentucky to florida.
the truck is going up a 7 percent grade at 9-11 thousand feet above sea level so the truck is not producing as much power due to how thin the air is. and that its towing 17k pounds do you expect the truck to do the speed limit?
It already
I hope Ram makes the Long Hauler concept that holds 170 gallons of diesel.
It already did the Ike

Honestly, I'm a Ford guy but this truck looks amazing!! I love the cummins engine and the interior is beautiful! I'd have either this or the Ford Super Duty King Ranch or Platinum. Both look superb. Both have extremely luxurious interiors. The cummins might last longer than the powerstroke, but the 6.7 powerstroke is a great engine as well. I wouldn't buy a GM heavy duty pickup tho, too bland and crappy interior.
In this video you say it is a 370 hp 800 ftlbs. In the ike gauntlet test you said it is the 850 model with the aisin?
well, in fact it depends on the transmission. See ramtrucks website. You can get 800ftlbs cl.ly/image/1A2q1e0Y3l2i or 660ftlbs cl.ly/image/3s3Z0S323L0L or 850ftlbs cl.ly/image/160i0E2j1Y2N
you said 370hp and 800 tq or is 385 hp 850 tq?
170 gallons?? If you want more fuel, get a bigger tank put in. that said 170 gallons would probably go bad before you went through it all.
It's sucks that it has to take DEF. Even some ford trucks cost a little more than 70,000$.
This video said the truck has 370HP and 800 lb-ft of torque which is not the high output version. It has the Chrysler 68RFE transmission. The HO version produces 385HP and 850 lb-ft of torque along with an Aisin 6-speed transmission. In the towing video, you said it was 850 lb-ft. Which one is it?
i may be a chevy guy but you gotta look at who actually builds the best truck and not base it on brand loyalty alone. ram hd is the best.
no hablo ingles quien me lo traduce
Who was in the back?
But it would be funny!! I just love to laugh with your videos!
The Laramie Limited looks soooo much better and much more classy.
12 mpg that sucks dick!! my 06 3500 SRW gets 21
only 300,000 miles. this can go way more than that
385hp. 850 ft- lbs
It should be a little better than that in the real world, but don't expect much. The 5.9 was a much more fuel efficient engine.
It
Pep
Longhorn? A lot like the King Ranch...Follow the leader? (Ford)
Nah man the 2014 chevy takes it for interior and exterior the ram looks good but i still prefer the chevy.
this thing is ridiculously tacky.
The Cummins is shit. It may go 300k miles but it does it SLOW. In every seen of the RAM with the horse trailer...which was barely half of its rated towing capability...it was barely moving with vehicles behind it waiting to pass. on I-70 it was probably going no more than 30 mph on a 55!!
The Laramie Longhorn is one of the nicest trims on any pickup...but the Cummins is the slowest engine on any diesel pickup
that diesel does not even sound like a diesel makes me sick!!!
Thanks for the kind comments and thanks for watching. We're very grateful to have fans like you!
