Dont confuse this game with Rugby Union this is Rugby League it is a different game with different rules and scoring system. The teams shown in this clip are from the Australian NRL the video was made as a promotion prior to the double header that was played in Las Vegas earlier this year where they drew over 40,000 to the Allegiant Stadium. In Australia when you say Rugby if refers to Rugby Union which here is far less popular we just call this code League. The NRL is the top rugby league competition in the world and is an Australian national competion with 17 clubs including one from NZ (soon to be increased to 20). It is faster, there are 2 less players on each team and it has less stoppages than Rugby Union so these guys need to have incredible levels of endurance just to keep up with the play..
@@nyc_edd You mentioned you wanted to watch soccer but heres a tip if you want to see something with a lot more action check out the AFL (Australian Rules Football) those guys dont take any prisoners either and is the biggest football code in Australia. Personally I prefer the NRL and follow the Newcastle Knights unfortunately they will struggle to make the finals this year.
New sub! I’ve watched 3 of your videos and love how much you love the game! The State of Origin ones are always massive, it’s Queensland vs NSW and the players must play for the side their junior club was, regardless of their normal club. So if they play for the Sydney Roosters during the season but were born and played in Queensland growing up, they play on the Queensland Maroons. So a lot of players end up versing their team mates. It’s a huge state vs state rivalry and they are handpicked through the year, so it’s the best of the best players. It’s also best out of 3, so if QLD win game 1 and NSW wins game 2 (like this year) it heads to a decider (tie breaker) and it’s just electric. Also, players can be dropped if they don’t play well and replaced in the next game. A lot is at stake. With your Broncos vs Panthers game, that was a Grand Final (your Super Bowl) the Panthers had won the previous 2 Grand Finals and Broncos were looking for their first Grand Final win in I think 17 years? So Panthers went on to win 3 in a row and are currently in second place so looking to make it 4 in a row. They are an amazing side. Sad because Broncos were leading for most of it also. There’s a lot of rules but you’re right, the energy is insane and it’s so fun to watch. It’s fun to watch you enjoy it too, so, enjoy!
Next year's season will also launch in Las Vegas with even more games, so you will get another chance to see it. Russell Crowe is a part owner of the South Sydney Rabbitohs (the green and red team, though they call it cardinal and myrtle).
Hey mate - Major League Rugby on your backyard this weekend. Snap Dragon San Diego. Its Rugby Union (this is the elder brother to Rugby League) it's a good way to understand fundamental basics. Ive subbed to support your channel
There will be another event held again in Vegas next year on March 1st but this time it'll be a girls game added and two men's teams from the UK alongside the 4 NRL teams from Australia/New Zealand
1:17 there are two types of rugby. Rugby League and Rugby Union. This is Rugby League. Main difference, league has 6 tackles per set, Union has no tackle count.
6:52 when the referee does this it means the player has to go off the field for 10 mins (Sin bin) and his team has to play with only 12 players for that period.
Rugby League has different scoring than Rugby Union. 4 points for a try in League vs 5 in Rugby, 1 point for a Field goal in Rugby, vs 1 point in League. Although they both have the word Rugby in their title, they are two different codes of sports - albeit with a lot of similarities
Think about it no time outs and shaun Johnson intercept and made a 80meter run in 11sec and score a try in 65min in game.like how tf he ran this speed, after continuesly tuckle and hits ffs🤦😂😂 In NFL at least they have time out so the players can at least refresh themselves before gaining the speed but not in NRL.
I enjoy watching you fall in love with the greatest warrior sport in the world! Great reaction mate!
Thanks man I appreciate it

2:49 yeah bro, that's why some teams kick the ball out to touch after the 5th tackle to take a breather
5:08 this is Nathan Cleary. Currently the best Rugby League player in the world. He's like Cristiano Ronaldo in soccer, a clutch player
currently yes all time either andrew johns or cam smith
