Ever heard of Islamic Golden Age? If not, search it up. Besides, there are some scientists that convert to Islam just because they use Quran for their research.
For example, the next verse I'm gonna talk about is about embryology.
Surah Az-Zumar verse 6:
"And He created you in your mother's womb from time to time in three darkness."
In 3 darkness? Seems illogical to you, right?
Actually, modern science findings is the same as Quran described. Professor Keith L. Moore, PHD, FIAC, an expert in human anatomy field from University of Toronto, Canada, says that a foetus is INDEED going through the 3 darkness (specifically, coverings).
The 1st "darkness" is the anterior abdominal wall, the 2nd is the uterine wall and the 3rd one is some kind of slime that covers the foetus aka the amniochorionic membrane. And this is written in The Journal of the Islamic Medical Association (1986), Volume 18.
Professor Keith L. Moore was impressed by the verse and even confesses that Muhammad is indeed a Messenger of God.
(If you didn't understand what am I talking above, you really need to do some research. And, what I said just now is FACTS and not a lie)
Also, the Quran is a book for those who seek for truth and knowledge.

I think Professor “Keith L. Moore” is probably a fraud. There are instances where he said the 4 stage embryology in sura Al-Muminoon (23), Verse: 14 is a copy of Galen version of embryology (Summarized). The 4 stage embryology cannot be considered as science today because it lacks the details.
The developmental stages in use today have about 23 stages and more detailed than 4 stages. If you are going to give an exam to students with 23 as the maximum 100%, then student that answered the 23 stages will get 100% while the student with 4 stages will get approximately 17.4%. If you set 4 stages as the passing mark then 23 stages will exceed the pass mark by far. I think it will be something like 575%.
Using embryology is not a very strong argument, because there multiple versions of the 4 stage embryology that exist at that time at various places including schools of medical sciences that are attended by popular people in the Hejaz area, Mesopotamia, Yemen etc.
Note that the name “Islamic Golden Age” can be misleading if a person is not familiar with the time period. The Islamic Golden Age refers to Abbasid Empire (or Caliph) and it is further away from Islam when compared to the time of the prophet. So the true Islamic Golden Age should have been the time the prophet is alive and not when people have deviated fighting and killing for money and power.

I need to start reading the QURAN more carefully, that is amazing.
Seemingly, it works the other way around if you're really interested in science: first you read scientific journals, get a scientific education or read popular science on wikipedia or something. THEN you find stuff in the Quran that vaguely hints at the same ideas. The idea that "the only book I need is the Quran" has crippled the muslim world for centuries. Allahs greatest gift to humans, as opposed to all other animals, was our brains. It's a sin not to use that gift properly, which you don't if you try to find scientific answers in the old book.

You cannot use You Tube simply by reading Quran. You can use it by using science. So, it’s not valid argument that you shouldn’t bother about science just because it keeps on changing. Quran’s hints towards science are to remind us that we will need scientific knowledge for our day to day survival as well as to protect us from our enemies. Quran teaches us that God never changes the conditions of people unless they themselves make the effort to change themselves. Similarly, Quran teaches us to always keep ourselves prepared to combat our enemies. How is it possible today to change our condition or to prepare for our defenses? Of course by gaining scientific and technological superiority over our adversaries.

But if you look at historic documents you will notice that he only had children from his first wife who was 15 years older than him and was widowed twice. All his children died before him except one daughter.

There are passages in the Quran that, *after the fact, some people have imaginatively interpreted* as being an early revelation of general relativity. This allows them to say things like "LOOK! The Quran predicted GR a thousand years before Einstein, it must be inspired!"
If the Quran taught general relativity, we would not have had to wait another 1400 years for it to become a part of scientific understanding.
@Mohammad Naseem Khan Exactly, it's a book of superstition. It's not that it goes much into math and science, it's about whether the things it says are confirmed by independent data sources. In the case of scientific data the koran often doesn't add up. And then we see hordes of clueless people saying "it's a miracle" and "praise allah" when some apologist makes up some excuse for the koran. It should be a fairly consensual fact that people in the 8th century didn't actually knew about plate tectonics, and it should be a google search away who actually invented that apology - and also that it is a distortion of a verse that neither aligns with the message in the koran not with science.

In general relativity we have space times described by a space time metric that can be found by a combiation of the curvsture of the space time (Riemann curveature Tennsor) and the mass-energy that causes the curveature (Energry Momentum Tensor) and some sneaky mathematics thrown in. The resulting mertic shows us how each dimension of the space-time is curved by the central mass energy of the system. let us look at the dimension of time (for a uncharged non rotating mass time is curved by 2GM/rc^2 -1) the more curved the time dimension the slower time moves for the observer in this region of high curvature. and since the earths mass devived by its radius is much less than the speed of light this equation 2GM/rc^2 -1 reduces to -1 as the speed light dominates this term (2GM/r)/c^2 and sends it to zero. or in other words on earth we can take our time dimension to be uncurved by earths mass and therefore on earth time travels more or less the fastest time is able to travel. This means there cannot exist a space-time where the time moves significantly faster than on earth. However there can be space times where time moved significantly slower than on earth near the even horizon of a black hole for example. According to the story for his bed to still be warm means very little time has passed on earth while he had his journey that had a signifcantly longer time, this is inconsistent with the laws of physics as if it were to be consistent his bed should be cold and the entire journey and visit is what should have taken mere moments.
To reiterate time dialation in relation to "black hole physics" says that time passing on earth can be more or the same as time passing during the night journey, and cannot be less as is suggested (so his bed should have been cold to be consistent with the laws of physics).
overall nice video, i just wanted to comment to apeal to the critical thinkers amongs you. I have presented you with the inconsitencies with this story and the laws of physics do with that as you wish.

Ancient people used shadow clocks like obelisks in Egypt, which is likely used in similar ways in Arabia. The sun shadow from the sundial tool is moving depending on where the sun is. Shadow moves from short to long (the shadow is extended) then back to short (reduced) again, forming a half ellipse. This is just a normal shadow movement. Not time dilation at all.

25:45-46 "Have you not considered how he extended the shadow...then we made the Sun its guide" - Oh come on! This is just about how shadows get longer at the end of the day. It even says that the Sun is its guide. The Sun does not guide shadows that we see in stretching due to Einstein's relativity, it simply causes them to be longer because it appears lower in the sky just before sunset. Why do people invent such fantastical explanations for such mundane observations?

Have you read the tafsirs on the 25:45 verse used here? " the Exalted Lord pulled out that shadow by His power such that the whole army of Islam had a place in the tree's shadow. In that state the Exalted Lord sent down this verse, and this miracle became manifest." This video takes the verses completely out of context and changes their meaning to fit science.

As Allah’s words cannot be wrong , Allah says that when a believer read the Quran and try to understand it , tears will come in their eyes.
Whenever I read the Quran, my eyes become full of tears . That’s the simplest miracle of Quran which I have observed personally.

But they are wrong. For example, 21:30 talks of the Earth and sky being pulled apart, which comes right out of Sumerian mythology - and of course the Earth did not exist at the beginning of the universe. Shooting stars are not missiles for the devils (67:5), they are grains of sand and rocks going through our atmosphere. The Sun does not set in a muddy spring, and this along with Gog and Magog and the iron wall stories are right out of the well known Alexander Romances. In 2:187 the Quran tells you when to fast, but you can't follow that if you live in northern countries where it doesn't get dark for months or the Sun doesn't even set (and people had to come up with man-made solutions to this problem, in a book that is supposed to be for all people and all time). Etc.

You are taking about relative theory and using Quran to the theory which isn't even representing shadow in the sun light rather than energy light in room which isn't even changing directions like the sun does and so the shadows. Second, you say time gets slower for the Lol you people are so funny. m/s and never change than there shouldn't be any time difference there shouldn't be day and night and where does light go when sun sets to the other side. That's why Einstein built a theory from the day and night and the shadows happening at same time lol. Everyone knows sun rise and set at same time so the speed of light doesn't change but what is speed of light 3oooookm/sec would be false because electricity hitting on any part of earth is immeasurable. You can't measure it. and for the shadows too. Quran explains that as sun changes it position shadows change too and than there's no shadow suddenly! But in the room experement there will be a shadow always. Earth doesn't have walls like the room and we in open ground can too lose our shadow totally in full light or no light. Leave Quran alone you can't interpret it

Now muslims also understand the deep meaning of Quran and develop their scientific knowledge bcoz if contradiction in meaning occur one's knowledge grew more and that is good

Thank you for the video. I became interested in the Holy Quran when I learned that the ancient Kabballah mystics revered and respected the Holy Quran and studied it and even though they had their own mystical faith they knew it was from God. They referred to it as "The Holy Koran". So you have The Kabb-allah. A tradition that is supposed to be a secret and mystical and not to be used by ordinary humans and then you have the Holy Kabba and the name given to God in Jesus' language of aramaic called Allahu. And then the names Zohar are both referred to in Islam and Judaism. So anyone with any intelligence will realise that the source of this divine knowledge is the one god. Who not only in my opinion but in the language spoken by Jesus is Allah. And all this Kabballah, zohar and similar names are from a divine source. Our creator........

The verse states that "Made the sun it's guide" as if the sun is what controls the length and duration of a shadow. Which is as we all know is wrong. Earth's rotation around it's poles is what causes day and night. Without this rotation, half of earth will have sun light all year long and the other half will be all night all year long ( giving that earth stays in it orbit ). Without this roation, all shadows of all objects will stay as they are with no reduction of length through time. The verse clearly states that the sun is what guides shadows. Plus the scripture could have stated the word light instead of "Sun" to refer to the speed of light as per your evasive explanation but I guess God wants to increase the number of interpretors jobs available for people to strengthen the economy.
RayTheBeladi the sun here refers to light since it's the absolute source of reference relative to the shadows not the sun itself
Aliyu Mijinyawa It seems to me that you are forcing light into your argument. If light is the "guide" , I see no reason for not having the verse written using the word light instead of "Sun" in the first place. The quran has a poetic narrative, poems are spoken within the understanding of the poet of his/her reality, which is limited. It doesn't need to be specific and that is not a scientific approach to examining reality. Understanding reality requires precision and extreme clarity.
This is a new one I must admit. Now some muslims will actually start calling the quran a scientific book... I admire your patience to straighten out that misunderstanding.

Since you want to discuss about algebra, then i have a question for you:
What was the reference book did Khwarizmi and Omar Khayyam read for them to be able to help shape up algebra?
Was it quran? Or was it other knowledge developed by ancient Babylonian, Sumerian, Egyptian, Greek or Indian hundreds of years earlier?
Can you show me which part (book and verses) of quran that explain algebra?
Now on modern science. Since this video is trying very hard to portray that quran predicted and explained things that modern science had been trying to discover.

Answering your questions.
1. Why then many Muslims (including this video) claim that quran explained so many scientific phenomena? Many even claim that quran can be used to govern everyday matters including to govern the whole country, medical reference, etc.
2. Scientific facts in quran? Example earth is flat? Sun set in muddy water? Meteor is star shot by god to scare the devils?sperm originated between spine and ribs? shadow change length because god stretch it?
3. No other holy books made claim like what muslim claim. Last holy book therefore it is the perfect one. Last religion therefore it is the only correct religion. Last prophet therefore the most correct prophet.
With simple deduction it is obvious that these claims are non sense, in fact the opposite is so apparent. 😉
