Shockwave Handpiece requires periodic cleaning and maintenance to ensure the treatment quality. During treatment, if you find the frequency of the pressure waves changes/stutters, or the bullet is sticking in the tube, or if your unit does not feel/sound consistent, then you should dissemble the handpiece and inspect the revision kit to see if cleaning and replacement is needed.
