I have just restored a 1967 Triumph dirt bike, and need to have a cut down saddle covered. Thanks so much for these videos, so useful. I am not sure if I will try it myself, but at least I have a better understanding now of what is involved and what to ask for. All the Best Michael (Sweden).
Hello, thank you so much for watching. The thread length differs however for most motorcycle seats we usually set our sewing machine at 5 or 6. like an 1/8" ish . Thread sizes are usually 90 or 210. The needle i will have to check. we usually have a diamond cut leather needle that punches the hole so the thread inst dragged through.
I been making cosplay recently and I just learned so much glad I spent some time on UA-cam before tackling my motorcycle seat. Thank you so much for making this video.
Some really great information. That makes complete sense. I appreciate showing the differences. What type of pen can I draw with on vinyl to make a pattern design to follow that can be erased after. Is there some special stencil pen?
Man..that was really cool show and tell. You should take those samples and show those seams on a Mercedes or high Quality seats in cars or even Boats interior! it is true: if you know stuff you see more and can identify quality work! Well done! Greetings from Germany sends CarpenterBea
I appreciate that you love the craft so much you’re willing to get very granular on some very basic stuff.
Great job

Thank you for the info! I have an industrial sewing machine I’m currently learning to use. This is the best content I’ve been able to find!
Bro! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. I'm recovering my Hayabusa seat and now have some great inspiration 👍
Glad to help and thanks for watching. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. Thanks
Thanks for sharing. I have a couple questions. What is the stitch length that you used here? What size thread and needle are you using? Thanks

I can't find the video you referred to here as your next video. Did you make one comparing the sew foam and no sew foam?
Thank you for your knowledge and wisdom. What machine and equipment could you recommend for someone wanting to have a go?
@@arniet1 I have been told by many to contact NC Carpet in New Jersey . They are extremely knowledgeable.
Love this series, great content 👏

Space pens
Very helpful thank you!
Good content but was expecting the piping type too
Who doesn't want a really tight butt seam?
LOL
Exactly .
FYI: The extra material edge of the seam is called the "SALVAGE" edge, not "savage."
awesome
Been manipulating butt seams for years with no luck..... I'll let myself out .
