I don't collect these figures but the quality of these pieces are incredible . Wow. The eyes on this are perfect. I just collect rare records . This year is the 50th anniversary of The Beatles Sgt. Pepper's Lp. If Hot Toys did figures of the band wearing their Pepper duds in this quality , they would make a mint.
awesome man!!! Love the way you can see the make up & pores in his face...i heard the mime one is even better. But not as popular. I wish Hot Toys would chill out on Marvel/DC/Star Wars & give us more serious cinema actors like they did w/ Godfather & Marty McFly. The milking of Iron Man & Stormtroopers is silly at this point.
I would love to see Hot toys making 80`s Horror classics Like Freddy - Myers - Jason - PumpkinHead - The Howling - PinHead. Can you imagine the detail on a Hot toys Freddy Krueger head sculpt?! A collector can dream : P
I had both. The mime sculpt has a slightly better likeness to Jack Nicholson, but it looks a little bit less like the Joker. This sculpt has more character, and is more crazy looking.
I remember being scared of The Joker seeing Bat89 in theaters when I was 6. when he turned to Vicki and said "Boo" I remember gasping lol. what I love about this figure is there is no bad pose. every pose works. on a side note, Jared leto's simply makes me want to vomit but the hot toys can be also used with the tuxedo. put heath's head on the tuxedo body while receiving the Oscar lol. Jack on the tuxedo would look like the classic Alex Ross painting of the joker wearing a tuxedo. .. i wouldn't mind a new heath figure as I don't have one now and the dx figure right now sells big money. .. you gotta be careful (as you know) with the Eye Rolling stick. my Batman broke and had to move the eyes straight by pushing them with a pin. .. great review (again lol)
Great to revisit this classic.Have seen a few pop up on fb but like you said you need both figures to compliment each other and that's alot of cake for a passing interest.Got to be one of hot toys best figures and if you can pick one up for around 200 its a great deal.Forget ebay prices haha.Interesting to see if they do a 2.0 of this as it looks like they might with the dx11.Shame you don't do as many showcases but that's life

Thanks buddy. I am not sure about the Sideshow PF as the likeness does not seem to be very strong on it. I have the TweeterHead statue and am pretty content with that for now. Hopefully Hot toys will make her soon.

The DX11 was a 2.0 of the DX01, they'll be no more Ledger Joker's, i'm pretty sure of that. Just glad I got the DX08 & DX11 haha.
