Now this is the first time I’m interested in buying a lens for a phone.

Glad you guys were one of the first to bring the probe lens to the US. It has been on the chinese markets for a while and I thought Shiftcam, or Fotorgear was going to beat you guys to the punch but lo and behold!
$349 is a bit steep for what it does since it doesn't seem as wide as the lenses you get from AstrHori or Laowa but maybe I'll grab it when you guys have your Annual sale

Very well made video, need some reviews on this and see how it differs from the wide lens macro on the iphone in quality and magnification.

Very intriguing! Also, what is the device that's moving the phone + probe lens so smoothly? Is it motored or manual?

We used both. The manual one is the SANDMARC Cinema Slider. The automated one is the Moza Slypod.

Why it needs charge?

The Probe Lens does not need a charge. Only the built-in light needs power.
