Match 20 of the Bodycare presents 2nd NC Bakshi Memorial T20 Cup was played at Essex Farms Cricket Club & Academy at Chhawla on 9th February 2024, between Delhi Capitals and Golden Eagles. In this Pool Dencounter, Delhi Capitals won the toss and elected to bat first.
Batting first Delhi Capitals scored 196 for 4 wickets in 20 overs backed by Ankit Pratap Singh’s 76 runs off 47 balls and Yash Bhatia’s 49 runs off 38 balls. Vishal Bajrangi took 2 wickets for 40 runs in 4 overs for Golden
Eagles. In reply, Golden Eages fought well but could manage 177 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs backed by Deepanshu Kakkar’s 63 runs off 40 balls. Suryakant took 3 wickets for 21 runs in 4 overs. With this win Delhi Capitals have joined Delhi Cricket Hub as quarter final qualifiers from Pool D.
Ankit Pratap Singh was adjudged as the Kimati Player of the Match for his batting performance while Deepanshu Kakkar was the ABSS Sports Fighter of the Match.
