So here are a couple of things I've found out about the game so far: Cities increase population cap by 15k population. Also, you can see which country your mouse hovers over in the top right of the screen, instead of having to send emojis to them constantly. Honestly I haven't found what defense posts do yet. They highlight your coasts when you build them near the coast, so presumably something with that. You can also immediately annex any territories, including entire countries, if you completely surround them (and they possess no coastal access), which has some weird edgecases, but can be very useful as you can annex entire swathes of the map without needing to send a single troop. Alliances aren't worth it unless the other party has a port (and you do as well), or if you want the other party to stop attacking you. You can only have a few alliances before the AI starts rejecting your offers. I don't know if it's a hard cap, but they accept them less often at three, and stop beyond five. Six is the most I've been able to get at once, but this was after two countries offered me alliances and I offered alliances and then waited until I had my other alliances accepted while holding the offer. Alliances also expire after some duration, so you need to renew them to continue benefiting from trade with allies. Trade is king though, if you're planning on getting any amount of money. Workers are worthless in comparison to trade. You get it for each port you have and the other party has. The navy is only worth it if your enemies have a lot of trade, because you can capture their trading ships, and also intercept their invading ships. You struggled at the end there a little because you had a very low percentage of your population as military units and the vast majority as workers, so despite controlling the plurality of the map your troop count was on par with your enemies, if moderately higher. That is why various countries were able to come back, in Europe and Australia, because you had a very small defensive force. Anyway, openfront is looking to be a very good game, and I hope to see more of it from you. Hopefully other people start playing it also, because so far the most people in a game I've played was three, and that was only once.
@@OpenFrontIO That is really useful! If you ever need assistance with tutorial stuff let me know. In any case (as I am sure you already know), you have something here with openfront. I don't know all of what it will become, but I really like it conceptually on a lot of levels.
If you hover your mouse over a nation, it says in the top right corner which nation it is. Also if you click it on the leader board it brings you to it.
See, I am not sure how it is going to develop. I think eventually there has to be some counter to nukes, so I think it may occupy a more nuanced role. Nonetheless, anyone who is about to die I am sure will be launching their nukes :)
@@EnzoPlays_YT I guess we shall know for sure, if we get players with names like "Attack = Get Nuked".:D As for counters, one that springs to mind is nuking the silo(s) of another player before attacking him conventionally. Unless the game is changed to alert the other player of enemy nukes, there is pretty good chance they won't notice the missile in time to fire their own weapons. Then again, an obvious counter to that is to save money until you are ready to fire, then quickly buy silo and then launch nukes.
@@EnzoPlays_YT i tried and it kept freezing when i pressed single player, crashing when i pressed create and join lobby and it doesn’t start on multiplayer because there needs to be at least 2 players still didn’t work when there was an update still innovative game though!

thanks! cities give 25k max population boost & defense posts make capturing territory 3x more difficult. New tutorial coming soon!
This comment is soo helpful. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks! Love it!
Destroyers capture enemy trade ships and battleships destroy destroyers.
Thanks for the tip - that is really helpful.
This game needs more advertisement
It has some really good qualities. I hope it can get a multiplayer meta
Fun to watch, but probably won't play myself
Glad to hear you liked it :)
I suspect Nukes will become this game's equivalent of Full Sends. :P

When will this game be on playstore
Probably when the game devs are satisfied with how good it is
He said he'll eventually do so
However, you can play it on your browser, preferably on pc, it's not very supported on phones right now
The game is in alpha, we will release it once our game is ready
