You are speaking my language this morning! Because Jesus has put love in my heart for the widows and orphans I have been involved with a CASA organization in Texas for over 10 years. First as a volunteer and now I am on the staff. This was so timely for me as I am headed to court this morning. Family reunification is SO important if at all possible. Please consider volunteering for a CASA near you! It is one way you can help!
Thank you all for doing what you do. My wife and I will be receiving our first Foster Child any day. Pray for us. Thanks. We will be reading your book, look forward to some helpful tips
Thanks for sharing, Bill. Be assured that we’ll be praying, asking for God’s wisdom, assistance, and guidance for you and your wife in the days ahead. Also, you’ll find plenty of useful information on our website: Wait No More®: Focus on the Family’s Foster Care and Adoption Program {www.waitnomore.org/}. In particular, several materials are highlighted in the Resources section {bit.ly/2U9LYA2}. You may also be interested in looking over our resource list on adoption {bit.ly/3bc4DWk}. God’s best to you & yours!
I’m so glad you were able to see the positive in the situation with your daughter. But to be frank. 2 years then moved is so inappropriate… the plan I supposed to be 12 months to permanent placement. These CHILDREN need to be the top priority not the parents. The foster system is constantly letting kids down and putting the needs of the bio’s before the needs of the kids. It is so frustrating
Reunification is the goal 👏👏👏👏
