Does somebody know the origins of the texts used by Webern to compose his cantata?
Origin of the texts Webern used in his 3 kantatas are the Hildegard Jone’s words. She was Joseph Humplick’s wife and poetess.
Reading along to a piano reduction of Webern is disorienting. The lines jump all around the orchestra from note to note.
