Hi Bryan, thanks for the feedback... Did you move out of the pen tool option once you finished? You need to stay in the pen tool option in order to safe the shape! Here is another tut just showing that - Custom Shapes In Photoshop
Could it be because I filled the shape with color before saving it because I followed all the steps. And I had also watched the tutorial on how to create custom shapes.

It's been a while, I created two separate shapes and merged them to form the whole anchor.
how did you get so many shapes? my photoshop only has like 10 shapes
