In an alternate universe, Kanye dropped this, committed suicide and he would be one of the highest praised artists of all time period. It's only when you're gone that people realize how much you meant
Thank you for not trying to remix this song. This is the closest I’ve heard to the original and I just want to say thank you for not ruining this beautiful piece of art. Thank you.
This is the most heartbreaking song i’ve heard in my life. Kanye was going through so much turmoil, self hate and depression when recording this and rather than feeling good, I feel terrible listening to this song, it’s basically Kanye’s suicide note in the form of an 10 minute song. It’s as if he’s screaming for help in this song, It’s a super eerie and scary feeling listening to this, it makes my blood freeze. with such a happy beat in the background but the lyrics is something completely different- suicide, depression, self hate, and so many other terrible feelings. But we can all be thankful he never went through with it. #SAVEYE

This song is absolutely beautiful. A true summary of the ups and downs and all arounds of Mr. West. The old Kanye, the new Kanye, the good Kanye, the bad Kanye, the sad Kanye. The rap legend that was Kanye West, the father of the soul beat and a generation of people who’s music touched their hearts or made them feel good when shit was rough. “It’ll be a long time until you ever see me again.” He’s implying that yes, another soulful rapper will eventually come along that’ll replace/fill the gap he leaves. But, he knows that he’s made a huge impact on the world with his music and he doesn’t think this out of cockiness but, it’s more so self-realization of his overall success in his music career. And it will take a long long time for another rapper to fill the shoes Kanye would leave in his death.
the fact that ye's unreleased stuff sound better than the released ones really inspires to produce as much art as possible. you never know if you write a masterpiece
Throughout all of the AI continuations and remixes this doesn’t hit the same at least to me as it did before, the part where Kanye is clapping alone still hits the feels pretty hard though lmfao
Fully listening to this song after learning about the Nitrous stuff is incredibly depressing. I only started listening to Kanye a bit before the controversy, and even though I do dislike what he’s said, seeing hands down one of the greatest artists of his generation go out like this is just upsetting. I really do hope he gets better but I’m not sure if he ever will.

In another universe, Kanye West committed suicide October 23, 2010 at the age of 33 and becomes one of the biggest music mysteries. He rests in peace. Yeezus, TLOP, Maybe MBDTF, and more albums and singles are never released and produced so humanity thinks nothing of it. Instead of 70 million listeners on Spotify, he has around 10-30 million because of his irrelevance. Crazy how much life could’ve changed

this song is almost like trudging through thick mud, it gives me a hallow feeling inside and his lyrics over the seemingly happy and upbeat piano riff just creates a daunting uneasiness and its hard to keep listening because it sounds like he's breaking down through the song. ive never heard a song that carried as much emotion as this.
this the most popular version tho? The version I can't find is the one with Bon Iver and John Legend but the drums arent there and Kanye has no autotune
Thanks for uploading this version. The original video with it seems to have been deleted, and most others that you find are cringey weird attempts at remasters and EQ tweaks. I was lucky enough to save the original a few years ago so I'll upload that if something ever happens to this video.
Kanye is the most normal person that ever achieved his level of fame. I know that sounds weird. Even the Beatles didn't know each other just like One Direction didn't. He fought and clawed his way up, basically alone, and got denied over ten fucking times trying. If I was kanye? I would've broken a lot fucking sooner. Say what you want but kanye earned his status. There was no silver spoon involved.
Beatles is a crazy example, they could line their wallpaper with rejection letters. And they definitely knew each other. They were all each other had for like 10 years. Get back documentary is a good insight to their relationships.
I'm not gonna lie. Whenever the thoughts become too convincing, I just listen to this song on repeat endlessly until I don't feel like it anymore. I don't care how long it takes. Hours, days, weeks. I will listen to this on repeat until the thoughts stop. This song has very likely saved me on multiple occasions. Ye saved me, God please save Ye.

its like a dark return back to old kanye, hes rapping over samples like the old days but the raps are sad and hes doing it over using an eerie sample by someone who tragically committed suicide
This song really hits deep, it’s not the subject of what he sings but the vulnerability. I keep having to put up this false persona where I go and even when I don’t nobody can understand who I am and the thoughts I have. They just assume. I’m tired of not being me, I can’t be the real me, I thought of attempting too much lately but the people around me don’t deserve to be sad because of me.
@AjMase-wl3qo nah, he's referring to the fact that this didn't originate with him but rather with shakespeare "Cowards die many times before their deaths: The valiant never taste of death but once."

Kanye fr ahead of his time with this. Just looping a part of a song over and over like that as the entire beat would become a staple of not only his production but hip hop production in general. This is from 2010 bur if you told me its from 2013-2016 id believe you.

This is the most heartbreaking song i’ve heard in my life. Kanye was going through so much turmoil, self hate and depression when recording this and rather than feeling good, I feel terrible listening to this song, it’s basically Kanye’s suicide note in the form of an 10 minute song. It’s as if he’s screaming for help in this song,
It’s a super eerie and scary
feeling listening to this, it makes my blood freeze. with such a happy beat in the background but the lyrics is something completely different- suicide, depression, self hate, and so many other terrible feelings.
But we can all be thankful he never went through with it.

And it will take a long long time for another rapper to fill the shoes Kanye would leave in his death.

this song brings a haunting emotion
a good and bad one
That's a great way of describing it honestly, it's like a musical liminal space
especially because everyone says this is the song everyone hopes he never releases
And it'll be a long time, before you ever see me again, me again
They want me, hold my head in shame
So I hold 'em on, holding hands in vain
Covers talkin' now the feds say I'm insane
A psych said I'm gonna fumble down along the planner
And then his son told me "Put down the drink dawg"
I got the rinks off, coming for the things off
I guess there's nothin' and I'm finna chop it's head off
I need a little something to knock the edge off
Aside from this song, life sucks
Stomping on someone, with my boots
And I'll put it off, if we modest
And every other god need a goddess
And every other star, couldn't guide us
It falls upon something that's inside us
So I'm not gonna stop for my riders
Tell me where my ride is

In another universe, Kanye West committed suicide October 23, 2010 at the age of 33 and becomes one of the biggest music mysteries. He rests in peace. Yeezus, TLOP, Maybe MBDTF, and more albums and singles are never released and produced so humanity thinks nothing of it. Instead of 70 million listeners on Spotify, he has around 10-30 million because of his irrelevance. Crazy how much life could’ve changed

Get a better tan and
I been feeling dandy
And who can run the planet? Pass them a Xanax
And an afternoon I annex
And all of the damage
Left on the platter
Who's soon after all, I guess it's a small world after all
Stunting on the sun 'cause I have to ball
I run the world 'cause it's a small world after all
And I'm never after y'all
I have to loss somethin' and I got it all
And feeling like you got it all?
Humble some' [Non-Lyrical Vocals]
Nah, nigga, not at all
[Chorus]
Don't worry 'bout me, just worry 'bout you, cause [?]
And whatcha gon' do?
It'll be a long time before you ever see me again
[Verse 5]
There's something on the all out, the call out, somethin' on the call out
Last summer, last fight, and y'all had a fall out
I can sense nothing to something, what are y'all 'bout?
Bumping nothing to something, and everything that y'all 'bout
Y'all had your ups and downs, I don't fuck around
Put everything on the something, then you go and fuck around
Bet you felt something, now you feel nothing now
Y'all feelings felt something, y'all don't feel nothing now
Her tears dried up, from bumping expressionless
I was under exodus and learning what the lessons is
What the ebony of essences, the Genesis
I got the fetishes, something on the sedatives
One sip and then it'll have you look at innocence
I wish we just could take it back to the Book of Genesis
Before the hook is in, is there any point of any of this?
But understand [?]
[?] put hands on you, then put his front side, and put hands on you
Just turn around say for really? I'm done motherfucker
I can state something if
[Chorus]
They worry bout me, just worry bout you, I got [?] when I be good
And she said that
It'll be a long time before you ever see me again, me again
Don't worry 'bout me, just worry 'bout you
And I'll be up now, what I've been up to
And it'll be a long time before you ever see me again, me again
Don't worry 'bout me, don't worry 'bout them
And it'll be a long time before you ever see me again, me again
Me again, me again
It'll be a long time before you ever see me again
[Instrumental]

this song is almost like trudging through thick mud, it gives me a hallow feeling inside and his lyrics over the seemingly happy and upbeat piano riff just creates a daunting uneasiness and its hard to keep listening because it sounds like he's breaking down through the song. ive never heard a song that carried as much emotion as this.

Thanks for uploading this version. The original video with it seems to have been deleted, and most others that you find are cringey weird attempts at remasters and EQ tweaks. I was lucky enough to save the original a few years ago so I'll upload that if something ever happens to this video.

this song is so haunting with context.
There was no silver spoon involved.
faxx 💯
I think for that, you have one person to thank that he didnt break sooner, his big brother, Jay Z.
Beatles is a crazy example, they could line their wallpaper with rejection letters. And they definitely knew each other. They were all each other had for like 10 years. Get back documentary is a good insight to their relationships.
You are wrong about the Beatles dude. Dunno about One Direction though.
The Beatles weren't a boy band mate, they all met and hung out at different times.
The day this gets released will be one of the saddest days for music
it won’t get released
I'm not gonna lie. Whenever the thoughts become too convincing, I just listen to this song on repeat endlessly until I don't feel like it anymore. I don't care how long it takes. Hours, days, weeks. I will listen to this on repeat until the thoughts stop. This song has very likely saved me on multiple occasions.
Ye saved me, God please save Ye.
