really been enjoying the videos, nice to see a vlog that isn't all slick with annoying people and stock music like most youtube vlogs. nice advice how to avoid backpackers without being condescending (we were all young once)
In regards to not publishing my vlogs from Vientiane.iam not going to put myself in a position where I can get in trouble with the local authorities due to defamation laws. Shouldn't be afraid to show the bad as well as the good. That's not being negative, but can give a realistic view of places/people etc, and forewarned is forearmed. Laos does look a beautiful country.

We understand. As you're living in Thailand the last thing you want to do is draw any negative attention to yourself from the authorities no matter how small for any reason, just not worth the hassle.
I wouldn’t worry too much about the odd copyright strike, depends if your reason to UA-cam is purely to earn some extra cash or to share your journeys? We vlogged the Thai festival in the UK last weekend and every song got a copyright strike but the Vlog want blocked in any countries.

I dare say at Immigration your neck tattoos would of made the officials dubious about gang activity.Regarding ink & tattoos they are far behind the west who view them as decorative rather than a position in the criminal fraternity ( Yakuza etc ) .Good vid
