The reason why they gave her a grade B was that sometimes she doesn't have a great ease on higher notes, sounding somewhat strained, which can be bad to her voice and is a vocal flaw, although, she has been getting better and better about this flaw. Also, another point is that she doesn't use many of her registers besides the low and mid/upper belts. She rarely uses head voice, falsetto and her whistle. Which, actually, she seems to have'em well developed, for what we can see from random registers, but no one can be sure about it since she doesn't use them very often. I'm a HUGE Tori Kelly stan, and I got really really sad about those articles too, but I understand why they gave her a grade B. I think she will get better though. We should keep in mind that she is a fighter, and she used critics to get better once before, so, I hope she does it again.
