- Tonight I'm sharing some songs from my 1983 album, The Heart Never Lies which was released on Liberty Records. I hope you enjoy songs like "Don't Count the Rainy Days", "Will it be Love by Morning", and a few others I enjoyed bringing back. I'm also featuring the song "The Santa Fe Trail" as we continue to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the trail and I have been serving as the Honorary Chairperson of that celebration.

Michael, I am 66 yrs on this earth. Ive been following your music since 1972 ("Geronimo's Cadillac").....some 50 yrs! I met you in a honky-tonk you played at in Florida in the mid 90s. What a night that was slow dancing to your music w your band w my wife. What a beautiful memory. I am so happy you're still around....and still touring but you never come to Ohio. Too far east I imagine, I get it. What a great career who've had and your fans - myself included of course - have greatly benefitted. Your album "The Heart Never Lies" is really one of your best along w "River of Time", IMHO, although I love them all. God Bless, Michael. Be well.
