H’s theatrical interpretation here is a demonstration to anyone who doesn’t know the band of the emotional input he puts into everything he performs. We are privileged to have born witness. One of the best performances of one of their most outstanding pieces of music.
This track is brilliant. Timing, creative use of instruments, ambience... I want more like it! So I've listened to 4-5 albums by Marillion, but it generally seems to be more pop than prog rock. Can anyone recommend other tracks by Marillion like this one, or is it a one-off?
I agree, love these progressive songs. Try with Gaza (the live version is wonderful). Neverland is one of the best. And personally I suggest Ocean Cloud (18'), The Sky Above The Rain, Montreal. I hope you like them.

Power, Gaza, Sky above the Rain (Sounds that can't be made). The Space, Seasons end (Seasons End) Crow and the Nightingale, Care (An Hour Before It's Dark), Fuck Everyone and Run, White Paper, The Leavers (F.E.A.R). That will get you started and then you can come back for more.
