- The final boss theme of the game. I had this transcribed and printed long time ago, but never got around to learning it until now. The despair and anguish is in the arrangement as expected, but they're also surprising moments of tenderness. I tried to match the intensity of the orchestral score by playing at a faster tempo than the original.
I lost the sheets on my computer, so I'll have to recreate them when I have time.
Arranger: Mariko Taguchi
Piano: Kawai Novus NV-10
Piano VST: Garritan CFX Full
My current CFX settings: forum.pianoworld.com/ubbthread...
So, you basically do NieR Automata arrangements when you are not touring the planet playing world class concerts?
That's a sweet bargain for us music lovers and fans of Okabe-san.
The finesse of your technique is perfectly balanced with the honesty of the emotion.
Thank you.
I have been out of touch with this VERY SUPERB artist for some time. Every selection from the classics to modern piano compositons comes to LIFE under her fingers. What superb control she has , not only of her fingers but the emotions of each selection. This is extremely rare in a performer and she is not a performer but AN ARTIST! My heart leaps in her skills with her dynamic digits as she flows over the keys to evoque the magic in her mind to the notes written, be it a composition from the 1800s or of the last year! I wax rhapsodic whenever I watch any of her performances. She is exquisite with the piano. I only wish her the wisdom of NOT being given to the pressures of audience and performance to her detriment. Like the works of the historic pinacles in arts, well chosen selections are, and desire for quanity are NOT, APPLICABLE here. The spirit knows when to create! Do no harm to your muse, but honor from the heart. You are of this nature! I am humbled by you. BRAVA, BRAVA!
Awesome, makes me want to purchase the Automata collection
don't do this, its himself who transcribe this songs. The automata collection have really bad transcriptions
@@capivaramanqqq The album doesn't have "transcriptions" itself since there was never a sheet music book released for it.
wow the legendary rush e challenger!
It's really sad that the sheets were lost. I'm not at this level yet but I'd definitely learn this in the future. Great performance
Other pianist: hey guys! find the tab below!
Rach3master: I lost the sheets on my computer, so I'll have to recreate them when I have time
what a chad. great arrangement btw. masterful
Omg this is my fave ost from Nier:Automata and you played it so amazingly! 😭😭💖💖 Thank you, I will listen to it 10000 times✨
Only discovered your channel in the past few days, and I have to say, having been a member of the piano UA-cam community for years now (specifically Anipiano), that your dynamic control is spectacular and one of the best of all the creators in this community. Just makes it so beautiful and non-tiring to listen to! Keep up the great work rach3!
-and man sheet music would be awesome too afslkdjfslkfj-
This is absolutely my favorite Nier Automata composition and you played it beautifully 🥺❤️ Amazing as always n.n
I'm so glad, you're doing more Nier:Automata songs. Your covers and arrangements of this game's soundtrack are so nice to listen to.
OH MY GOSH im SO happy you covered this! I've been practising this for a WHILE and ive been so upset with the lack of covers of this wonderful arrangement on UA-cam! I was praying that you'd release this eventually and you DID! omg this made my DAY
Finally you are playing Nier's piece again. Thank you very much.
This is just so well played
Outstanding!
I never thought I would ever see a performance of this piece.
Captivatingly beautiful, i love your cover !!
and the part from 3:06 to 3:50 makes me levitate
This legendary music !! Love it ! You’re playing it so well ! With your own touch and spirit !
it has been so long not seeing your new Nier post. Full emotional Performance!

its a really great performance, i believe its not that easy, good job!
Brilliant rendition, rach3master!🤩 Fantastic cover.😆👍
damn, i need this sheet, amazing!
Fabulous!
Ahhh I love all your playings as usual! Btw not trying to be a creep (really), but you have rlly beautiful pianist hands that can dance gracefully on the piano :>
Really like this piano arrangement.
Another very similar transcription can be found on zakid's youtube channel. The sheet music is also available there.
His interpretation is somewhat slower. But from both I get the impression that this song actually benefits from being played just on the piano.
It's the same arrangement :) but my sheets are not that accurate, I planned to fix them for months but can't really get around to it
As I am slowly catching up with your content, I realize how much I actually missed listening to this otherworldly playing and interpretation of yours! The ferocity and tenderness you are able to muster are truly unparalleled. Listening to your playing re-sparks my love for the piano every time anew.
Allow me to also ask something I have been wondering about for a while: All your pieces have a very distinct style to them which I personally find really pleasant to listen to. This "style" is most prominent in the arrangement style, rather than the music style. Hence 2 questions: (1) What keywords would describe that style of yours? Or which other artists do you take inspiration from? I always find myself having a hard time looking for related works when it comes to music (piano specifically). (2) Do you make modifications to existing arrangements or where do you find these incredible arrangements? (I spotted in another comment that you dislike making arrangements from scratch)
this is so fucking insane to watch and hear. i love u
Well done hooolyyy
YOOOOOOOO
@rach3master, I’m learning this right now. The very beginning and ending, how do you pedal? On my grand, I don’t need much pedal at all, but playing on my N1X (finally here), the behavior is completely different. Do you pedal on beat or half pedal?
I don't use pedal except for some down beats that I want to emphasize and the octave run.
Can you do the 2nd movement of the Rachmaninoff Piano Sonata No.1? I'd love to hear it from you...
Zakid waited for this for 3 years.
cool watering
hard
You are extremely good for an amateur pianist. I am a scientist and also a pianist. would love to catch up and get some tips on sheet music that you play. if you wouldn't mind sharing. congratulations!
🥰
This arrangement is awesome! It sounds very much like a Rachmaninoff-inspired interpretation (which would make sense given your username!!!)
Just wondering if you have redone the sheet music for this piece? I am looking to write some orchestral transcriptions of several of the NieR pieces and would love to learn this for fun :)
Can you briefly introduce the experience of using N 1X and nv10s? Thank you very much, because there is no way to test nv10s in China❤
Bravo!
Thanks! Maybe if people are actually interested.
Please can we know more about your musical journey? Can you do a Q&A?
Maybe if I can figure out a format.
3:00 is scary! But how? Only spiderman can do that!
Steel arms and some luck.
@rach3master, I would really hope you can help me out. Here’s a 15-second clip of the beginning section. For the life of me, I can’t figure out why my notes right before the octave run sounds so dry. What’s the secret? Reverb? You probably didn’t use any pedal here until the octave run, but the notes don’t sound dry.
ua-cam.com/video/lYm0mzsxS_0/v-deo.html
Just sounds like it needs more reverb.
are you enjoying the Kawai more than the Yamaha?
Please, let me buy the sheets from you 💘
