I had a similar match. And the game was literally over. 134k damage with 19 KOs. Had a blissey though but still. When it evolves faster it feels like it doesn't need a buff or anything but when you dont it's feels absolute terrible. One game I was romaing on the map for 3.5 mins splashing here and there.
Idk why they have gyrados dragon breath, they should gave him dragon pulse that functions similarly to charizard’s flamethrower and dragonite’s hyper beam. Dragon breath seems a bit lackluster for my tastes.
idk, gyarados just seems like a better garchomp to me with how frequent autos crit and how many instances of damage one auto attack does and bounce is just a better version of dig
Bro I logged in 31 December got my Free rewards and went afk (18January-1 February) that will be end on February 1 will i get return Reward in 1 February?
Tip to evolve faster is going to lane, preferable the bottom, lane with a strong partner and ko at least one opponent (even by your partner as long as you assist), that way you can evolve easily. I mostly hit gyarados very early doing that. Sometime my gauge already fills up but I can't evolve yet because of the level 😂
If I get this guy, I have to be used to this playstyle tbh. Also, there is no guarantee that you would evolve fast because if the jungler doesn't gank that lane with Magikarp, then he will evolve pretty late and that can happen tbh. Right now, this is by far the luckiest I have ever seen.
Even if you get gyrados evo its brawler-ish playstyle doesn't fit him especially with him being pretty squishy as you saw the gengar not even running the dream eater build and yet still able to KO gyra in just a few hits
I still really don't like the concept of Magikarp. Effort gauge is a neat idea, but it makes the pokemon inconsistent and probably unplayable in competitive since it will probably be near impossible to get a KO or assist with it.
Getting two moves at once is a very high value. The only competition are the eevees, and thats true vs other mons. Coordinated play means you can help magikarp evolve faster.
@@Erinyes there's no good way to help it against Good players though. You won't get kills with a nearly useless pokemon in your lane and they likely won't let it score. It might have been ok in the old 1-1-3 meta but I doubt it will see play now.
It’s funny cause yesterday I had a magickarp try to mid lane which no one wanted right but we just let them cause I mean it’s not worth fighting over mid lane we lost cause it took him 4 minutes to get to gyrados cause of that and we lost obviously cause he wasn’t even good and then the next game I fight against him this time and win pretty easily since I got to mid lane and dominated since I stole his lane exp and kill both his lane but yeah idk why he kept trying to mid lane as a magickarp it really doesn’t help ur team at all it really handicaps you alot making it unfair for your team and I just hope he any future magikarp isn’t allowed to midlane either
Cris please make a video on how to be better in Pokemon unite how to win more matches how to avoid mistakes when to take fights when not to PLEASE IF POSSIBLE 🙏
Cris says to help and gank the magicarp lane. Zugrug says it’s grief to do so. I’m not sure what to believe. In theory Magikarp is an empty slot as it loses the 1v1 to a Comfy. You need luck to really get the magicarp going and that’s not always going to consistently be the scenario. I dunno, it’s such a tough call for the jungler and miserable for the lane partner. In Mewtwo meta I would just gank the Mewtwo lane get it to lv5 and just let it go like a wind-up toy. Gyarados is a whole different story.
Gyarados at level 4 should not be allowed lmfaooo. The simple fact you get two moves at evolution just proves my point. It should be level locked until at least level 5 or 6. Other than that I say give Aqua Tail some sustain. That's one nerf and one buff i would give Gyarados to make it a bit more balanced.
Getting Gyarados at lvl 4 or 5 won't always be feasible. The effort bar would fill up that fast only upon getting a couple KOs or assists. For that, you not only need to have your jungler gank your lane, you also have to make sure you take down the lane opponents. This would be tough to achieve even in trio queues.
@shash8048 True, but the fact that it's even possible at all to evolve to Gyarados in less than 1:30 is very scary. No other pokemon in the game has the ability to have every single one of its moves (besides their Unite) before 2 minutes. That's a little too much of a handicap even if they're just trying to be safe. Also, magikarp can score 10+ points at a time to evolve as well.
Gyrados is bad. Probably among the worst of its class. Not to say it cant do work in a team fight, but one for one, it cannot compete with other all rounders. Scizor in particular is a direct counter to Gyrados. It cant do any damage to it.
@@andrewgood7586 i mean sure go against icicle spear glaceon mean look umbreon or things like this just a powerful attacker or a stun locker mon and its joever for scizor sadly nah he is really weak and needs a lot of stun to be even good and thats a shame because i like using him

Really want timi to buff/rework aqua tail and waterfall. Auto attack builds stop being fun after the novelty of the character wears off.
