Very cool. I've done this before. The vultures cleaned it up in a day. I was amazed how many deer came to where the gut pile was and would lick the ground. One huge black bear came in as well. Always interesting to see how nature works.
Every gut pile I leave in the deer woods in central Kansas is gone within 24 hours. The only thing left is whatever food was in the paunch when the deer was field dressed. Nature cleans up whatever is left behind and nothing is wasted.
Unfortunately the coyotes are everywhere, and they're so invasive. I'm honestly happy they didn't show up on the camera, but it would've been cool to see how they go about it.
Every state’s environmental department has gone woke here in NY not only are the sending 12 armed officers to take a pet squirrel they are also wasting money on trying to get everyone to stop using lead ammo because they think bald eagles are dying from eating the deer gut pile. In 35plus years of hunting I have never seen a bald eagle on a gut pile during our 1 month gun season. I have seen bald eagles eating road kill but if them eating gut piles with lead ammo in it was an issue how did they make such a comeback that they are no longer endangered? iMO You can’t fix 2 things stupid and woke.
@@HuntingWithAJ1 Agreed it’s the same in every state… here in NY I started trapping a few years ago I now have a family of river otters living in my trout pond eating my trout but this area otter season is closed year round so to remove them I need to hire a nuisance trapper or pay a $200 few to become a nuisance trapper to remove otters on my own property that are eating my trout. If that’s not woke I don’t know what is.
Yes there are lots! This was recorded around opening day for rifle season and there were many gunshots around the area, so they all scattered assumingly.
Lots of coyotes are usually around! I left the guts out opening weekend for the rifle so there were many shots going off around our property, so the coyotes all ran away assumingly.

That’s awesome! Unfortunately we didn’t get that type of action, but the turkeys are still cool!
Woe look at the Turkeys, cool

@@jti2007 Usually that’s the case here too! But I guess all the loud noise from the rifles scared off the coyotes so they never came to take it
Same here in southern IL
Nature has a way of cleaning up the environment. Good video and thanks for sharing.
@@knothead5 Thank you!
Here in northern Minnesota, they last about an hour, the wolves eat them almost immediately. But there's no over population of them, right dnr!? 👎

@@briankin5244 The hunting laws and regulations here are ridiculous, they don’t ever do by what’s best for the animals and nature ever, it’s saddening

@@briankin5244 Wow. That’s ridiculous. Paying someone that much for something crazy like that is insane. Could’ve done it yourself for free!
Surprised no bobcats or vultures found it first! ( saw y’all’s said it was opening day so the yotes were hiding). Cool video! 👍
I know right! I'm just as surprised as you are. So glad to hear you enjoyed the video!

Turkey for everyone!!!
No coyotes in your area?

The scavengers will leave nothing behind, nothing goes to waste. Nature has all the solutions .

Turkeys looking for recycled corn in the deer guts.
