I felt smothered by the sheer number of people around me. But after it got dark, I would feel like I could go outside. I would go to the woods and run and watch the stars and feel free for a little while. This song perfectly encapsulates those feelings, which I still experience to some degree all the time even though they no longer rule my life. Thank you, Malinda.
holy shit this describes my current college experience to a tee :( I'm a freshman & its 2am & I literally just went outside for a few hrs bc it's the only time I can feel free.
