Very nice Chief! Absolutely fitting for Memorial Day weekend. I know you never forget, I never forget but it's important to help others to better understand the price so they, too, never forget.
With everything that's happened this week, this is the most appropriate video you could have put out. Don't know if you thought about it and said this is the time to put it out, but it is the best time. Also loved the video when they were putting to pole in. All they neighbors driving by on their ATVs looking to see what that crazy guy's doing now. LOL
Looks beautiful ! Always had a flagpole at my houses. Recently moved to the villages, Fl. Will be putting one in soon. Great job with the base concrete.
@@shotslife Yes, it's a lot of fun getting around in a golf cart. We bought a 2024 gas Yamaha a few months back, after we moved. Unfortunately, there are as many crazy golf cart drivers as automobile drivers.
@@johnmarschalk1977 lots of times it’s just luck… but I have always found that if I treat them like I like to be treated they always seem to give a little more, just as I do when I’m working for someone… but I do ask around, been burnt before…
Happy belated Memorial Day! Nice flag setup and nice preliminary finishing job! Are going to light it 24/7? And the garden sure is going strong too! Peace out
Yes Sir we are going to light her up! And yep the garden is doing pretty good, glad you saw that, that’s why I left that awkward clip in there, figured some might be interested.
Nice addition to the house. That young lady didnt hesitate to jump in there and work. I thought when i first saw the title it was going to be one of those cheaper amazon flag poles. That one is solid.
Curious why they didn't pour in wet crete, seems like leveling would have been easier, did not see them add water at the end? Seems to let it soak up water from ground would take forever to harden? Also thank you for your service.
Yeah I was curious to that as well, the best I could figure out by talking to them is many times they don’t have water access… they put in several other that same day…but their system seems to have worked fine…
Dry pouring concrete does not utilize the full strength of the concrete. They should have mixed it with water then poured it in the hole. Overall its a really nice flag pole. Good on ya for putting it up and remembering those that gave all.
@@shotslife- Nice perspective. We have had a flag at our homes for decades. I think pride for where you live, no matter where in the world, is a necessity. Thanks for your service! Canada benefits immensely from the American Military and their actions.
The eagle on top is the best I have ever seen. AWESOME!!!
@@TheAmmoDan hahaha, thanks that was a late night “got to have that” type deal… been sitting in the house waiting for two years or so…

It’s coming!!
Thank you for your service, Chief. We appreciate you! 🇺🇲
Thank you
...i thought you would have whittled down one of those big trees with a pocket knife for a flag pole...lol..great job, have a gooder week amigo...Bob
Hahahahaha! I ain’t as tough as you Bob! Have a great week my friend!
Looks Great.
Thanks Cuz!
Awesome job, sir! An excellent addition to your home.
😎
I think so too! Thanks!

Funny I have watched a couple videos on that place.. really cool, I like it because I want to cruise around everywhere on a golf cart!

Thanks Jeff! Hope you have a great week!
I'm sure you do your research, but it's amazing to me how you find such quality people to do work for you.

Nice finish to the flag pole. Just a finishing touch if you added a plaque to the base that said LEST WE FORGET. Just a thought?
Ooooh, that’s a nice idea!
Very, very nice Chief! I'm sure you're already prepping the shop with the spot light?
Yeah we will be adding that soon.. also have conduit in the ground somewhere near there for a plug or sidewalk lights…
Very Nice
Thanks

Yup, I agree but that’s their system… so far so good though, while not as hard as it could be I think it will perform fine.
I am proud to see my fellow Air Force Vetren is displaying the flag. Could I ask what rank you were dischared with?
I was a 30 year E9 and the wife retired as an E7.. glad to know some AF people are watching!
Lest we forget . 🇦🇺 ...
I was OK with seeing the flag in class & school an yard. But found it kinda awkward for some to have it at their house.
Interesting perspective, after serving 30 years in the military my American pride runs deep.
