Yeah... when I was training to face Red in HGSS, I thought my team was too weak to retrain against Gym Leaders. So I thought my best bet was the League.
Imagine my surprise when my Level 56 Ampharos came face to face with a Level 72 Salamence

It's like inside he's thinking "YES! FINALLY I GET TO FIGHT THIS GUY!"
Only to get barely used in the fight
But then he dies

Amazing! Really love the concept of adding the voice clips from masters to official games, really breaths life into the game. Can't wait to see more of this in the future potentially!
Lance REALLY did not wanted his Charizard to die by many Outrages. Now I 100% get the Lance and the Full Restores joke.
You know what’s funny. His team is entirely compromised of Pokémon that have quad weaknesses. Many to the same type.

That's why I think Lance is a bad Champion. Seriously, that team is absolutely terrible.
Ya you can sweep his entire team with a single Pokemon so long as it has good stats

When lance used a full restore on charizard i thought he would say
Lance: You can never be a champion without spamming full restores!

The fact that Lance starts with a Salamence and has other strong Dragons like Garchomp (which isn’t even his ace) waiting in the wings should instill fear in you. It makes up for his kind of easy 1st battle. I’m a perfect world, he would replace that Gyarados with a Kingdra, then this would be a little rough

The battle are more realistic in my opinions, even in the game he talk a lot lol! But here I add my own personal touch.

PS: edited for toggle time when Lance's Dragonite used move Draco Meteor, but it missed 😂😂😂

Can you do impressions of the characters from the anime? I know it sounds stupid for me to ask, but it could be cool. Let me rephrase that: there have been characters in the games that appeared in the anime, and it would be cool if you were able to copy their voices and say it in the dialogue.

... I've just destroyed Lance's team with my Lugia level 72... with only Lugia.... it was thanks to the ancient power that increased his stats, and Lugia just destroyed that Garchomp and the Dragonite.
Lugia is just too broken.
If you have pokemon heartgold, I really recommend you to catch Lugia before rematch the Elite four.
