Has less to do with Christian and more with Metal. I didn't even know these dudes were "Christian" a few years back when I started listening, the songwriting was just fantastic and what hooked me. Metal will never be popular mainstream, ever. Your average music listener doesn't want to listen to screaming, period.

@Travis Landers For Today was the same way, but they were massive. Wolves has turned down numerous tours because the headlining bands didn’t want them to preach, so what’s the difference there? It’s not like Mattie didn’t preach during every set they played.
This song has brought me out of some dark places. Every time I get into a bad place, God puts the lyrics of this song on my heart. This is my favorite band, hands down! Thank you guys!!!

One of those rare bands where every album tops the last. I thought it'd be impossible for them to top Eclipse but man, this album was insanity!
Been a believer since 2012 serving doing all the things. It wasnt until we moved to a place the Lord said He would establish us that I began to feel such a darkness, warfare & torment. The Lord has been asking me to study @ night & because of all the things I would feel & see I just wouldnt do it. Last night I took communion & believed there would be a shift. I was looking for something to play from you guys as I wrote in my journal. I havent heard your new stuff so I thought I would & this song was highlighted to me. WRECKED. i felt like this song resonated with this season I had been in that I felt almost took me out. Hearing the lyrics I remember the hope, the light of man & the truth empowered me! whether it was because I felt understood in the lyrics it just affirmed my transitional season!🔥🕊🙌 thankful God bless you guys!

Remember that the Lord himself gave us the heavy metal calling brothers in Psalm 33:3, “Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully on the strings, with loud shouts.” I remember I found that verse shortly after I started playing electric guitar. Well done!

Sure thing bud. What do you see in the presence of God in Scripture? Is it a small, quiet, scene? Not at all! It is thunder, voices shouting praise, His very glory shaking creation. Don’t be afraid of metal. Everything good comes from His hand. Only the enemy of our souls takes it and corrupts it. Metal belongs to the Lord.
@@Tglegos we see loud shouts but we don't see those like roars (not sure what exact word to use), concerning metal it also seems like it places a bit too much focus on how it sounds
@@lb7625 Is it not the same with all music? They are attempting to capture a particular sound, being a guitarist myself we chase “the tone.” I appreciate that metal is not for every. I want to maintain unity in Christ above all (speaking of which Happy Good Friday!!/ IT IS FINISHED!) That being said it has been the enemy that has taken the heavier side of music and tried to lay claim to it, polluting a style that is meant for God’s glory. Have a blessed day.

Everyone sounds great as always but good grief, Nick has phenomenal breath control if he's able to spit out those lyrics in a live setting! It has been years since I've seen them live and they were always great live but the improvement is astonishing!
