Very sharp livery and cool operations for N. I love my Roco locos for my Märklin system, but there were some information issues. They said they were MFx decoders- they were DCC. Then, the list of functions given in the booklet was completely wrong, so it was guesswork.
I do really like the paint on this one.👍🏻 Oh really, I suppose the odd game of ‘guess the sound’ can be a little bit fun but having the info needed is just better imo.😁 Ben.
Maybe a wheel is out of gauge or something? My pair don't have sound, one has a Digitrax DN163K0D and the other has a TCS K5D7 (factory). The front reverse lights don't work on the Digitrax as it's designed for rear headlights. It's my only complaint, and self inflicted as I bought the wrong decoder design. Mechanically they run so smooth that speed matching the different decoder brands was not too awful. I have not needed to take mine apart yet so I don't have any tips. [EDIT] Ya got me, lol (just watched your video) 😊
@@Steve_Larson thanks buddy, I actually found out it was the speaker from the decoder. When I put the shell on, it would push the speaker down which caused other parts to be pushed down, to where the trucks wouldn’t rotate right. Actually it’s kind of hard to explain lol 😂 when I bought the locomotive, it came with tsunami DCC sound decoder. It seems good now, except for the shell doesn’t snap into place anymore which is OK 👍
used to ride these all the time as a kid.
good vid thanks lee
Thanks Lee, appreciate it. Ben.
nice engine
Cheers Dwight.👍🏻

Your locomotive runs so nice mine won’t go a foot without falling off the track

Do you know what kind of speaker is in there?
Hi. I’m not sure to be honest, it’s a factory ESU setup if that helps. Ben.
