Personal ramblings: we all knew Albright kept a facade, but it's really sad given what we will see in the next flashback :(
We also know he was already a very well respected, resourceful and selfless medic from the first season, probably helped cure a big city wide mutation or two (especially the second one that affected Bianca in the flashback...)
Maybe he could even find a final cure for the virus...

Yeah haha after the mycelium arc it took a prettttttty long break (I think it was around 2 years)
