I’ve finally managed to determine it to be the drummer Steve Jordan’s laugh, but in the mid to late years of the Late Show, (probably around 2000 to his retirement.) There was another very distinct laugh heard on the show. It was lower pitched than Steve’s and came in short bursts. (Basically sound like “Ha!”) Would you happen to know who’s laugh this belonged to? If needed I can supply an example.

I'm Russian and though I'm not his personal fan I can be somehow biased... but after all you for the first time ever get real Soviet rock musician star on air, he speaks pretty well English, he is very charismatic and you just take 1 minute interview asking so common things...Sounds strange to me)
