I've accidentally found a very specific type of burnt cookie that I love. First, you have to set the oven to the highest temperature possible. When it reaches that temp, put the cookies in and watch them closely. When the tops just start to rise, get em out and off the sheet as fast as possible. The bottoms will be burnt, while the tops are nice and gooey. Along with a glass of the coldest non-frozen milk possible. It'll be hands down, the best of both worlds. crunchy/chewy cookie experience you will ever have. Edit: Disclaimer, I was pretty "under the influence" when I discovered this, but I have also made them this way while straight, so the method holds up.

I've accidentally found a very specific type of burnt cookie that I love.
First, you have to set the oven to the highest temperature possible.
When it reaches that temp, put the cookies in and watch them closely.
When the tops just start to rise, get em out and off the sheet as fast as possible.
The bottoms will be burnt, while the tops are nice and gooey.
Along with a glass of the coldest non-frozen milk possible.
It'll be hands down, the best of both worlds. crunchy/chewy cookie
experience you will ever have.
Edit: Disclaimer, I was pretty "under the influence" when I discovered this, but I have also made them this way while straight, so the method holds up.
