was up bro so i took the same route over the winter and i hyper dipped pretty much 80% of the black textured part on my sling and i love the look so here is a suggestion if you love you color match I recommend just putting a couple layers of clear over those wing guards cause the rocks will definitely chip it off without the extra protection. Yes there will be people who will definitely recommend that you DO NOT clear over your dip but if you dont want to go through the hassel of everything that come with painting then its jus a suggestion
@@RidinwithPuddin right on bro for the parts on my sling thats not so low to the ground I didn't clear over them but any part that will be will be considered high contact areas I cleared. to me the dip you choose look basically stock and if you didnt say anything no one would have known.
I assume to make room for the long legs. I haven't looked deep into it because the pedal travel is maxed out to the fire wall. If you take some measurements, I believe you would have to push out the firewall to relocate the pedals. Being that I have a 34" inseam, it's ok room, but any longer, I would see the need.
Insurance is weird, but shop around. Cold ain't a problem, but suspect snow will be. Maybe s crazy snow tire would help traction but not how insane uou would be ridin in the cold.
Great info just purchased mine and pick it up this Wednesday or Thursday. Your sidechick looks nice
The accent color looks great.
Great information. I call my slingshot Side Piece 😅
Glad I am not alone.

Did you prep the plastic by scuffing it first and use a plastic adhesive promoter to help the dip stick ? Also use a hard clear coat.
That i did, along with a good wash, then prepared the surface again with isopropyl alcohol. Let surface dry, dust coat twice then 7 wet coats.
Do you know where I can find some cheap pedal extensions for all 3 pedals?
