An odd deserted truck, creepy broken down stuff from decades ago, a wildfire - Steve “ this is going to be a cozy night.” Me “ call the beautiful wife.”
For everyone watching: When cooking small bits of steak like that, you need to drain the water that the meat puts out when it's at it's max level, and save it for later. This prevents the meat from boiling/steaming which will ruin its texture. Let the meat sear a little on both sides. Stir the juices back in and use them to "deglaze" the pot or pan, and reclaim that flavor. Searing the meat and stopping it from steaming will more than double your flavor. I guarantee it.

Love from Brian, in New Brunswick.
I was expecting Steve to turn a corner and see a bunch of those infected people from I am legend huddled together in a dark room.
@Island Vanlife that movie plays on my mind
Or finding a dungeon full of suffering people like the one in The Road.
i was expecting more like Tremors themed movie.
I'm glad everyone knows about I am Legend now after CV.
🤣😂👍
Only Steve can casually walk through a creepy abandoned building like nothing going on and sleep and chill there lol
The ghosts and shadow people are actually fans of the show.
IKR? I just kept thinking of the Walking Dead
We don't know if he really sleeps...
Squatters do it every day

Sometimes Steve camps in a Bob Ross painting, sometimes he camps in horrifying abandoned buildings. He just loves to camp lol
I notice in the Bob Ross paintings, Beautiful Wife is usually there too.
Just spent the day at a University hospital with a family member complication from stage 4 cancer..What a relief from a hard sad stressful day watching your video with your calm voice and relaxing demeanor..Always pleasing thank you Steve😎❤
♥️
This place is by far the spookiest place Steve has ever stayed overnight in.
Idk man, forests are pretty spooky too, it's so dark and you're so vulnerable and there are so many noises. I'd love to stealth camp but I guess I don't have enough courage to do it
Totally agreed, I don't know about you but I saw many orbs floating around around 20:30 & 21:10 He is definitely NOT ALONE.
@@cheirinhodepacoca I got my eviction notice the other day, so I'll be stealth camping in the forest all summer. It can't be any scarier than the rental rates these days
@@clam371384 that’s called dust.
@@clam371384 "Orbs" lmfao. Those are just bugs champ. Ghosts don't exist. Even if we get spooked while alone.
After working a 12 hour shift, the only thing I wanna do is watch Steve Wallis stealth camp in an old gas station
Same. 12 hours and everything
Felt that
Doing the same!
I'm watching on my 12 hour shift, double pay too. 🙃
Well at least my 12 hr shift was OT. I see guys camp around my work every night! Not so stealthy though.
"Today I'll be camping out at this abandoned hospital said to be haunted by evil spirits from the netherworld. Of course, I'll make some nice soup later, and maybe if we're lucky one of the demonic entities will give me a nice story..."
Steve needs to go camping with the guys from Buzzfeed Unsolved.
@@lordhank77 Ryan and Shane are cool AF
🤣🤣🤣🤣
This is definitely one the more creepier episodes!
Nice like caunt
I love going back and catching up on older videos.i always find myself watching cold weather camping vids in the middle of winter...
Who else woke up this morning and remembered it’s a new Steve video day
That’s the only way I know it’s Thursday!
I actually forgot and saw it and remembered today is thursday. click. haha. always a good day when Steve uploads
All Hail Steve
Every Thursday
I actually get excited lol, and i wait til he sips then i sip
Your videos got me through being homeless. I want you to know that. Thank you.
+1 I lived in a van for years and found solice in Steve's attitude. Every time I watched his videos, I felt genuinely grateful to have my van as a safe shelter. Love you Steve.
You weren't homeless, you were boondocking my dude!!!
@@gary00832 :)
Thats why i watch him too
You're homeless and watching UA-cam?
Steve has inspired me.. Today I went and actually spent money (not much) on a decent tent and sleeping bag. Time to go find a place to hunker down!
Nice!! I hope you have a great time exploring and camping!
IS it that EASY 🤓🤓🤓🤓🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🍎👠
You had me at "I know the bootlickers are going to come out" you're channel is so rad! I've done a lot of this while experiencing homelessness and I've had a blast binging your channel today, while, ironically I pack because I'm being evicted so my landlord can open an air b&b 🙄
Hope you're doing alright now!
@@kyetes.866 We spent the winter in an RV in the upper peninsula of Michigan. It wasn't great. Still no housing available

I was legit reading this comment as he was saying it 😂
"Rad"?🙄 Tell me you're older than dirt, without telling me you're older than dirt.. YOU go first, Granny...
I’m just yelling, “cook outside! It’s cleaner outside in the dirt!”. I was cringing the whole time. Bless you Steve.
Exactly, exactly! This place gives me the willies; kinda wondered what led the occupant(s) to leave that mobile home, too; what a mess.
@@t24hy44 They left because of the horrific and violent haunting they were experiencing. Luckily for Steve, not so much for previous occupants, whatever it was followed them to the next place so Steve doesn't have to worry
@@Xtreme_Airgun_Slugs What happened?
Ha Ha!! I was thinking the same thing. I would've cooked out on the porch. 🤣🤣
Steve - “I think it’s gonna be a cozy night with no critters”.
Homicidal Axe Murderer - “Hold my step 2” 🍺
You ever get worried you're gonna be watching the time lapse sleeping clips in editing and see someone just come stand over you looking at you?
or better a bear comes check him out and leaves like "oh it's just Steve hunkering down, nevermind then".
Haha, I will now! I can't even imagine what I would do
Or fast banjo music starts playing
@@campingwithsteve there was a previous video, i think it was the last overnighter in the old collapsible tent, last fall maybe where you had two animals go in your tent and out. It was the time someone stole your cheese. I couldnt make out what the animals were but i did put the times they went in and out. I had to set it to half speed. That is all i have seen so far so that is a pretty good record considering the places you have slept. lol
I was thinking this time for sure with a demonic entity crawling out of that hole in the wall
This is my favorite of all the stealthers. I am back again today. Been binge watching when I can while Steve is grieving his loss. This is a hard one because Beautiful Wife was such a part of it. Praying for comfort for Steve and the family.
What happened to his wife?
@@madmanmechanic8847 She passed away two weekends ago.
@@lindadonahue9279 Wow sorry to hear that. Was it from natural causes ? How long had them been married? I found this by total accident I just watched this last night
@@madmanmechanic8847 I believe they had just celebrated their 5th anniversary. To my knowledge, no official cause of death has been announced. She died in her sleep is all I know.

April Fools Day 2022: Stealth camping in his own bed. Step 2 cracks open, Beautiful wife stirs, Steve kills the lantern and waits for her to go back to sleep. *whispers* “I think she’s asleep again” 🤣 I wonder what he will cook?
@Jerome Baker Designs An April Fools Day video idea for next year. 👍🏻
These videos bring back so many memories of my hitchhiking adventures
Okay this was a scary one for me. The abandoned building gave off a kind of apocalypses vibe while the trip to the "don't go in there" trailer felt a bit Blair Witch Project. Glad you made it out in one piece.
Lol
Thinking the exact same thing! Glad Steve made it out of that trailer alive!
Yep, it gave me the heebies for sure
Man has rocks
Steve "We should be good except for the raging wildfire in the backyard"😛😂
Over half a million people can't be wrong- Steve is a gem
What an adventure! I’m from Australia and my son got me addicted to you, Steve! What a beautiful wife….a truly special lady that will be missed…❤❤❤
Stealth Camping with Steve is way better than half the crap on tv

And with WAY fewer commercials I might add.
*all the crap on TV
Indeed
But only somewhat better than the other half ;)
Why thanks!
"Ray why did you leave a perfectly good trailer at an abandoned gas station with a bunch of piss jugs underneath it?"
"Some guys can drink and drive some guys can't... Way of the road bubs... way of the road"
It took me a few videos to realize that he's canadian and the tpb references were intentional 😂 love this man already
Had a couple drinks saw a couple things
Okay I can’t even lie this looks strait out of a horror movie. Like when he was exploring it was giving me the hebe geebez
Ya not sure I could spend the night there.

I have been a silent subscriber to your videos for over a year now. I need to say I love this upload! Kinda urban explorer, kinda overnight stealth camping all blended together. Absolutely love it!!
Holy cow that trailer was creepy. With this being an April Fool's video I was waiting for Crazy Neighbor to be in there with a bigfoot costume or something 😂
looks like a low income rental flat after 3 months.
Or a Bigfoot in a Crazy Neighbor costume.
walking into that abandon trailer part was like a horror movie!. be safe Steve
I had the exact same thought... ::cue twilight zone theme::
This is awesome. Great scenery, middle of nowhere on a windy day, hiding out in an abandoned gas station of all places. It's like zombie apocalypse survival. If the world ends I definitely know who will be one of the people to survive, namely you.
Sliding door still working... "Gift from the heavens" 😁
I love your positive take on life Steve!
Loved it. These settings are far more interesting than his sleeping out on his own property. Staying in a structure like that I'd constantly worry about other people showing up. Steve just eats well and sleeps well.
Steve is the friend we all wish we had.
Found your videos a couple of months ago and find myself binge watching. I've learned a lot and they take my mind off my chronic pain condition for a while. Love your humor. I really enjoyed your Documentary I watched yesterday. Thank you for making these. I had a thought that maybe you could bring a few lengths of folded up parchment paper with you. Then you'd always have a clean surface for your food, could use as a fire starter, or even toilet paper if you ran out!
NO WAY... this is gonna be epic. Beer is cracked. 🍻 much love Steve!!!!
“There’s a bed, ohhh, OOHHHH Boyyy , wouldn’t use that toilet” absolutely killed me 😂
This is by far the spookiest place you’ve stayed since I started watching you. No way in HELLLLL WOULD I STAY HERE!!!!!!
I swear I hear voices as he was walking around the inside... Creepy
when he was walking around the abandoned buildings I kept expecting him to turn a corner and find someone there who was NOT happy to see him. this episode gave me so much anxiety.
Nice! Thanks Steve, you are an oasis in the middle of this pandemic.
From camping in a highway median, to camping in an under-highway drainage pipe, to an old abandoned/gutted gas station --- Steve has finally earned his black-belt in mastering the art of hobo living!
Steve is a pretty good Cook! The stuff He comes up with for on the Hunker is amazing! Thanks Steve! tp
Me and my boyfriend watch your videos almost every night and we really really like them. Some good ideas you have! Thanks for posting :)
I think it’s great that you don’t take on sponsorships, in lieu of great videos that you can look back on when you’re older. Your style of camping and videography is inspiring me to possible start my own channel one day- to document the successes and failures of trying out a new hobby/beginner adventures. Thanks for the fantastic content!
I would watch it
There is currently no show that i anticipate more than Steve’s weekly 28 minutes .
Thursdays never had much purpose before I found this channel
I think you should do more abandoned camping too. It’s interesting seeing all of the abandoned places and then spending the night there as it is much different than a typical stealth camp.
Steve, the "What Have I Done Again" videos.. Are the Best camps.. Stay Safe Out There...
I have never felt so creeped out and on edge while Steve is cooking. It is normally my favorite part of the show. Tonight? I kept watching over his shoulder and preparing to tell him to run while I covered his escape! AND GRAB THE CAMPING STOVE, FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS GOOD!!
Me to Charlene ! 😂😂run Steve run 😂
No cozy stealth tonight.
Steve reminds me of a tshirt I once saw that said, "I love camping, and by camping I mean drinking in the woods". 😝
I’d get a shirt like that if it said “smoking weed” instead of drinking.
*one person lives within 20 miles of the location*
Steve - "Gotta lay low this is really suspicious" lol love the vids steve
In this episode Steve disguises his camp as a meth lab to avoid getting caught for illegal camping. Steve also finds a body.
"I am the one that CAMPS!"
"A guy opens his door and finds a hunked down Steve, now you think that of me?"
"Jesse, we need to camp!"
This was a whirlwind of a video, like a horror movie without any actual monster. I kept waiting for somebody to jump out from every place you explored, then wildfires, then unknown stop in the road, & finally a freak snowstorm!
Would you spend a night there? I wouldn't
:)
Imagine the very first day this store opened with it's proud owners welcoming their first customers with fully stocked shelves of candies, cookies and groceries, refrigerated displays full of Cokes and Pepsi... Fast forward to president day with Steve cooking on the counter tops and camping out inside the building and recording everything for his "youtube channel" for a thing called the "internet"!
Yep. Seeing the car. The house ruined but furnished? Just made me think the original owner passed away and there was no one left to keep it going. Sad to see ruin and decay when so much effort was put into that place I am sure.

I don’t know why but, to me, this seemed scarier than camping in the middle of the woods, alone, with only a shower curtain for shelter.
