The Princess of Wales’ triumphant return to public life was capped by a Buckingham Palace balcony appearance with the royal family in honour of the King’s official birthday.
Kate looked relaxed during her first day in the spotlight for the traditional Trooping the Colour ceremony, where her youngest child Prince Louis stole the show again.

How would anyone know? IMO, she gave off very low key energy. She wasn't, understandably, her bubbly self, lots of waving to crowds. She hardly ever waved so that's quite notable.

You made a point that Princess Catherine was not born a royal and she was middle class. Princess Catherine is so great at her job at being a working royal while juggling being a wife to a future King, a mother to a future King and two awesome children to boot. She has so much class, strength, charisma, and beauty that she makes being the wife of a future king look so easy that anyone can do it. Meghan has proven otherwise and it just makes me admire Princess Catherine even more.

IMHO Catherine was born to the role. She's regal, plain and simple, in the most positive ways. Having a grandfather who was a miner, and parents who made their own way in life, just goes to show that character will out. Harry is a runt, as is Andrew, and there are simply no words for Yatch Girl.

The Princess of Wales was beautiful! The children looked happy and really the same as usual. The look that the Princess of Wales and Prince of Wales shared was full of love. Prayers for the King and Princess of Wales to have a full and complete recovery from cancer.

Neil Sean said that Charles went to see her personally earlier this week and asked her to come and said he really wanted her there ONLY if she felt like it. Prince William and Prince Charles talked about it first. The BEST PARTis he said King Charles and Catherine talk on the phone at least once EVERY DAY, sometimes three times a day. Also the kids talked her into riding in carriage. So sweet!

Nigerian don’t want them back. They were not happy with H&M ‘s visit the first time. Nigeria did not have full knowledge of the disruption H&M had caused within TRF until after they had already arrived.
Nigerians found their negativity spoken out about the RF was far from Royal behaviour. Also had no idea the duo were no longer working Royals. M’s dress code was a huge no no re Nigerian dress code with them calling her a nudist. Shame bc by the time they received the full info they had already given the Megainian full Nigerian Royal treatment reluctantly bc the Nigerians knew things were not adding up. Then ,TR head office was called and they were finally in the know and couldn’t wait for the duos departure never wanting them to return.

Totally agree with your distinction as to class. There is absolutely no comparison between the Princess and the duchess. The princess of Wales's class rises with her ageing. The class of the other is sinking lower and lower with years passing. Good luck from France to this admirable Princess. She is an honour to Britain.

An "insider"? told another mag that titles are nice to have but Harry and Meghan now see they don't need them.??!! If that is the truth why are they hanging so tightly to those said titles. They don't want to lose those titles, they know they will have no clout without them. The rest of the article was just as laughable but it also made me feel angry. Mr and Mrs Harry will cling to any tiny bit of the RF that they can.

I dont think she felt forced. I believe that both she and KCIII have taken the late Queen's example and done what she could at her advanced age and severely ill. She did appearances as much as she could at 96 for the jubilee because she knew what it meant to her people, whom she adored. My analysis, having also had chemo and radiation, is that Kate did a monumental appearance. Chemo drained me as nothing else ever did and I had very few good days when I felt strong enough to even get dressed and see anyone. Her smile lit up my day and I bless her for appearing.
Exactly my thought! Luckily I didn’t have to go through that but was thinking the same. Catherine is a fragile looking but very strong and brave. The BRF is blessed to have her. Wishing you the best in your battle 🙏

I am an American who loves the Royal Family.
H&M made their latest (failed) move like clockwork. Dog biscuits are the perfect representation of who and what MM actually is. Compare that with the beauty, brilliance, courage, strength, dignity, regal grace, and star power of Catherine (the Great), Princess of Wales, and you will see no comparison, because Princess Catherine, England's future Queen, blows MM off the planet.

My logic (which could be totally wrong). Catherine released her statement that she would be attending Trooping the day before because at that point she could calculate how she would feel the next day based on where she was in her chemo cycle and to give Charles the chance to release his statement welcoming her to the event (so she didn't totally overshadow him.). This put Meg is a really bad spot, especially with the time change. She wanted/needed to come up with SOMETHING that would give her publicity, but in reality nothing she did could overshadow Catherine. A different flavor of jam and some dog treats was the best she could manage on such short notice. And we all see where that got her.
I’d move to the UK in a second if possible just so I could enjoy the RF and the culture. I love America too but your weather is so much more to my taste. The RF makes the UK unique!
She wasn't pressured. King Charles visited Catherine and asked her only if she felt well enough to attend Trooping the Colour. It was so important to him being his first one and Catherine and the King have such a close bond she made the effort. Had she not been to make the day of Charles would have missed her terribly but would have understood. She appeared for him and this is why they made adaptations to suit her needs.

I am aware of the awful online messages that are sent to our Princess but remember she also receives thousands of messages telling her of our love for her and her family.
She respects the King and probably loves him as a father-in-law, they certainly look close when we see them together. She would want to attend such an important occasion for him.
She also knows how much the people wanted to see her so I believe the timing was perfect. Your choice of words is strong, ‘forced’.
I thought she really WANTED to do the trooping--she looked so happy to be herding her children along and standing next to her husband and father-in-law. I know how long-term convalesce makes one yearn to get back out there, and this was a perfect opportunity for her to dip a toe in, for the joy of life and the tradition that she's been part of for so long. To me she looked so beautifully healthy, her posture perfect, her motherly gestures toward her kids who were clearly thrilled to be with their parents, were so touching and so familiar.
